- We do not use any Peanut, Tree Nuts, Shellfish, or Sesame at Alcona Brew Haus. We have many options for those with food allergies and have separate cookware for allergies. We also have Vegan options. Please notify your server prior to ordering.
- How many beers do you have on tap?
- 14 house-made craft beer along with cider and mead on tap. Additionally a full bar, Wine, Bourbon, and Tequila menus.
- How often do you serve Afternoon Tea?

Really cute space and friendly staff. Came for the afternoon tea, due to us needing a bit more time in our day’s activities I called the day of to see if we could push our reservation time back and they were able to accommodate this change. Yummy treats for the tea service and delicious tea. Really adorable. Ended up coming back for dinner because we overheard another guest say “their smoked ribs are to die for,” And we love bbq. The ribs were definitely excellent, soft and juicy and falling clean off the bone, with nice Smokey flavor and sauces. We also got the queso mac and brussel sprouts, both also delicious.

Great food, drinks, and customer service! I would definitely go back. You can tell that the owners care about the place and are trying the make the best out of a terrible situation having opened up right before Covid struck, and now the main road (US 23) is tore up and keeping customers away. LOVED our dining experience. Everything was a 10. The food was great and the atmosphere was very cool. It was so nice to go and have a hot, fresh meal out with the closures. I hope that they keep the igloo's when the restrictions are lifted because it was a very cool dining experience in the winter in Northern MI. 5 STARS, I highly recommend visiting the Brewhaus. Beer, Cider's and Food was all AMAZING! Thank you for giving us a bit of normal back.

Loved everything about our evening at ABH. The decor and ambiance were soothing and fun. Service and cleanliness were top notch and prices VERY fair for quality and quantity of food. BUT THAT FOOD!!! We've never had better food anywhere and we are food snobs! Every menu item we've had so far has been exemplary; clearly their kitchen staff is well educated in the culinary arts. They have added a covered deck this year where we ate outside. The picnic table was comfortable enough and the trees around it were nice. The tables were spaced at least 6 feet apart and we felt comfortable. They even had some live music for us and it was fun.

Kylie, our server was delightful! Very helpful in describing beverages as well as meal choices. Sandy, the owner, came to our table and introduced herself. She gave us a brief history of Alcona Brew House. The brisket was delicious, Cuban sandwich was exceptional and pulled pork was offered with 3 sauces and was very tasty. Love that they take reservations! One suggestion: offer a Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. Great place! We will be back!

We had the Lincoln, the Cuban, a Burger, and the whitefish dip. We also had mixed drinks and beer. EVERYTHING was phenomenal. The smoke on the Cuban was delicious, and the bbq sauce on the Lincoln was yummy! Portions were a hearty size (we all took home left overs). The coleslaw tasted homemade, the fries were the perfect mix of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the kettle chips were crunchy! The kitchen seemed a bit backed up, but the appetizers and drinks were delicious and the food was worth the wait! We'll be back, and we'll bring friends!

We had the best experience we have ever had at a Brewery. All the beer we tried was great! Owner visited us and we learned a lot about Alcona Brew Haus. We just got Pretzels but they were very good and the Beer Cheese was awesome. We drove 2 1/2 hrs. to visit and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Beer was fabulous. Pulled pork tasted....old, like it had been around a few days. I have had it before and it was wonderful. Maybe just having a bad day. Big pretzel is always a treat. But their pie was not good at all. It was my birthday, so I was happy I did not have to pay for it!!!!

Fun night. The whitefish dip was excellent. They were very busy, the owner stopped by the table - that was nice & imformative. Had the brisket & loaded potato the potato was fantastic, the brisket was dry. My husband had the ribs & they were very good. We will go there again. But if you go on a Friday - make a reservation.

I loved the booth where we sat in the dining room, very cozy.
The limited menu was a little confusing for this old folk. I'll know how to handle it
better, next time. The chicken sandwich was a little dry. I'll order the "Lincoln" next
time. All in all a good time was had and we will be back.

We had a great time! The beer selection, staff, and ambiance were all great! The food was very inclusive of many diets but with most of the menu being "build your own (pizza/burger/sandwich)" it was not very memorable. We will definitely return and recommend the Alcona Brew Haus for at least drinks and apps!

The brisket and pretzel were amazing. Some of the best I have ever had. The ribs were mediocre and somewhat tough. The whitefish dip was good, but I would suggest serving it warm. That would make a huge difference. The beers were good with my favorite being the apple cinnamon Meade.

Music’s a little loud outside.
Out of tomato juice for bloody Mary’s. Oh well.
We ate outside. Might want to consider roll up shades to keep the sun at a minimum on the west side of the patio.
Burgers and pizza were great.
We like going to the Brew Haus

Please allow people to call in for a reservation. When I called, I was told it must be done online. Then I got an email with a PHONE NUMBER if we needed to modify. The bar code process for the menu was irritating. Older folks need a menu even if it's posted in the dining areas. Service was great. We were on the patio. I understand the challenges of a full menu during this pandemc and low usage of food items, but people who aren't getting to dine out often are hoping for more than pub food. The bar code menu caused one person in our party to just order something she'd had before rather than do the phone camera thing. It was scary to see people clustered around the bar and not wearing masks. Thanks for asking.
