We got a call from the golf course as a massive thunderstorm came through and closed the course and the patio. We said we would like to come out for dinner still. They kept the restaurant open and served us even though there was nobody around. It was a planned outing for my elderly relatives and they were really looking forward to it... so happy we didn't have to cancel... Big thanks to the club and the staff for taking care of us despite the conditions...

We had a lovely lunch….rated food as an 8 as my garden salad was missing the dressing when served and the Cobb salad had a very small piece of bacon and presentation could have been a bit better ….but these deficiencies did not take away from the taste of the food and we will come again.

We have dined at The Bistro (in-room but mainly patio) many times over the last 4-5 years and have loved everything about the experience from food to ambiance.
Even though we are not golfers we enjoy the view of the greens and the quiet since we live in a high-rise condo in downtown Hamilton.
We even ordered take-away during Covid and drove out to pick it up.
What we really miss our the breakfasts.

We returned for about our 6th visit. The wait staff were wonderful. Little things, like forgetting the tartar sauce for the fish, and perhaps the chef was a little heavy on the salt. We had new guests with us this time, but they as we, will be back!

You shouldn't charge full price for the farmer's breakfast if a person only orders one egg and toast. The server should have informed our guest or offered for her a take out container for the extra toast, sausage,bacon and home fried potatoes that she didn't get. Very disappointed!!

I had made reservations 2 weeks in advance. I called in the day of our reservation because of the threat of severe weather. Food was not bad. Caesar salad was soggy and the croutons had no flavour. The lobster roll was good value and the flavour was nice but it needed salt. Truffle fries were good but the Parmesan was shredded not shaved , it flew away in The breeze.lol. Atmosphere was awesome , staff incredible and it was a really nice evening. We will definitely be back. Thank you
