Always love the CBar- the service was exceptional with our waiter being efficient, friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and of course the setting and ambience is always a joy. If anything we mentioned we would have liked to see some pasta and risotto inclusions in the menu. Thank you for a lovely relaxed lunch and afternoon- we loved it.

Dining in Paradise - what could go wrong? Everything was perfect except for one little thing. My husband's fork was unusable. the prongs were bent inwards and they were blunt. He couldn't pick the salad up with the fork. My suggestion would be for them to go through their forks and throw out any which are bent, blunt and unusable. Having said all that, my fork was perfect!

No complaints with food or service for our end of year function. We had breakfast at a large table and the several of the seats had no protection from the sun as it rose in the sky and there was no ability to move into shade for those affected. The sun was right in their faces. On a hot November morning in Townsville this was very uncomfortable and really detracted from the experience. Once the sun was over head there would have been no problem but we had finished breakfast by then. There is shade provided but there is a large gap between the umbrellas and the roofline that was a big problem for some at that time of the morning.

We love going to C-Bar & do it often. Food, service, ambiance normally exceptional. This night there were not enough staff to follow up requests. The Seafood platter, which we adore was excellent as usual, but could have done with another sauce other than szechuan, and there was no salt in the garlic prawns. For a seafood platter many more napkins are needed. We will be back to our favorite restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant service and food, I haven't stopped talking about it!! Peta went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after, from changing our seats as per our request for no sun, to ensuring all food was correct, on time, and drinks were always checked on without being annoying.
