Excellent food and experience! We had been looking forward to having Sunday dinner at Gwesty Cymru for several weeks and we were not disappointed. Whenever we’re in Aberystwyth, we come here to have a special dinner. Diolch yn fawr iawn am y bwydlen Cymraeg, hefyd!

Please forgive me but my friend and I can't remember what we ordered as we are travelling so much but we do remember loving our meal in the quaint room with great service. our breakfast was delicious and we couldn't finish it. I heard the chef ask our server "did they not like it!!!!" He assure her as we did him that we were full but it was delicious. Great coffee and Amarone. Rest assured if we were unhappy WE would remember.

We are not local and were surprised that the menu was limited to the 4 platters; which were very nice, but a bit limited. The wine was excellent. We were also disappointed that there were no desserts, which we would have liked to finish the evening. Service was generally good, but it was hot and had to wait for 15 minutes for a jug of water, which we requested several times.
