Really great pub experience. Service was excellent even though they were down to one guy, food was top notch and not over priced. Good range of drinks as well. Dog friendly and easy parking. Couldn’t fault it!

We were well attended albeit the food service was a little slow this wasn't a problem as our group hadn't met for 2 years so had lots to catch up on The kitchen may have been busy as there was a large party in the other end of the pub. No issues, although will ask for less gravy on the bangers & mash next time, it was still delicious and we will be back. Thank you!

Nice hot food. Good portions. Just let down a little with the service when we had finished our mains. We were going to order some puddings and coffee but waited a long time for someone to take our order. In the end we gave up and just got the bill instead.

The food was exceptionally good. Extensive and very appealing menu. Ticked all my boxes. Staff were all courteous and efficient. Setting was warm and spacious allowing for distancing under current times. Very quiet as it was a midweek evening but I can see this becoming very popular once word gets out. Great food, big potions! Service was excellent, Rachel was very attentive. It was quite quiet when we visited so that did affect the overall ambience of our visit. It was also quite cold and drafty where we were seated. Overall we enjoyed our meal very much.

We had a well presented Sunday roast with plenty of vegetables on the side. Very relaxing with a nice log fire burning and music in the background. The only thing was a sound like an helicopter noise and it may of been a washing machine taking off in an opposite room. We all cleared our plates and that's how I rate place, if the food is good then you want eat it all. We will visit again.

Been here several times over the years. Great experience- children’s menu very limited so my 7yr old had an adult meal which makes it expensive. Service really good at beginning. No one cleared out mains away and when I went in to get dessert menu all 6 waitresses were in there talking at the bar. But overall really good

We were the only people in the pub when we arrived so had great service and the staff were smiley and friendly. The music was probably not quite right for Sunday lunch, 80s rock anthems?! Don't mind a rock anthem but maybe not for a family meal at 12 on a Sunday. Menu had enough choices and variety and my roast dinner was enormous and great value as you got a big plate of veg on the side. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My partner did say his burger was slightly over cooked. Overall the portions were good and good value but maybe the ambience could be better.

Great to see The Duck on the Pond open once more - lots of social-distancing in place, including an "In" and "Out" door (marked on the tarmac). Food was very impressive and tasty - well done all concerned. We'll be back!

I found staff very pleasant unfortunately food needed a lot of improvement my friend and I had ham was cooked ok but chips seemed to be rewarmed in microwave? They were very dry the same with my husbands meal he had fish and chips again chips were rewarmed and dry : fish ok but pea purée was cold needs a bit of improvement wine also was quite expensive I’m afraid will not return

Having been the second group to arrive at midday (as the restaurant opened), we expected to be served fairly quickly. Our drinks order was taken promptly and arrived but our food order took over half an hour to be taken. The food, when it arrived, was lovely. The waiter explained that they were 'very busy' however we had been only the second group to arrive and there seemed to be plenty of staff around. We felt that the delay was because they wanted us to order more drinks as they kept asking us if we required any!

We booked on line to be told on arrival that you had disconnected the online system so had no idea what online bookings had been made. 2 STAFF NOT TURNED UP SO LEFT 4 TO COPE WITH EVERYTHING. TOTALLY Swomped. Staff were brilliant under the circumstances.Must have cost your company a fortune giving money off to passify unhappy customers.We will return but only the once unless it improoves
