At The Bankhouse Pudsey we are all about great service and fresh quality homemade meals. Whether it's a casual meal for 2, family meal or large group we will do our utmost to accommodate and make your visit a great one. For bookings over 6 people please call us in person Tel: 01135 136863. TABLES ARE AVAILABLE FOR TWO HOURS and are allocated on arrival, specific table requests cannot be guaranteed. We have a 15 minute grace period for bookings. If your running later than 15 minutes after you booking time please call us. Please note that we are unable to cater for large groups on any Sunday and cannot accommodate large parties over multiple tables. Groups of 15 or more may be required to pre-order their menu choice. If you are dining with children, please count the child in your overall number of your party. If you have a pram or pushchair please inform us at time of booking, Due to licensing restrictions, we do not allow children in the pub after 8:00pm. The Bankhouse is a dog friendly pub and we do allow dogs inside in a DESIGNATED area. WE DO NOT TAKE BOOKINGS IN THE RESTURANT AREAS FOR CUSTOMERS WITH DOGS . Dog owners wishing to dine will have the use of the designated bar area and garden where our full menu is available. Menu states that chips are cooked in same fat as meat products meaning veggie or vegan can’t order the meat free burger and eat the whole meal. Not good value. So we ordered the curry which came with a fried element to it. I asked the waitress if it was fried in same fat as meat. She stated it has its own fryer. So how come chips with the meat free burger are cooked with meat? Menu only states the chips are cooked in same fat on the meat free burger and nowhere else on the menu. So a veggie could order chips and not know they are cooked in same fat as meat.

All great. Quality and quantity of food brilliant. There was a downpour as we were leaving, and I heard one member of staff suggesting he went outside to get umbrellas so he could help people into their taxis, great service! There was a slight mistake with our bill in that on a Sunday there is only the option of a 1, 2 or 3 course meal. There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 starters and 4 main courses to start with, then afterwards 2 desserts - so that should have been 4 x 2 course meals. Instead it was charged as 2 x 2 course meals, and 2 x 1 course meals plus 2 additional desserts - meaning it was overall £4 more than it should have been. We did not correct this (amount was too small) but mentioning it so that it can be clarified with staff - seemingly the only combinations on the bill on a Sunday should be 1, 2 or 3 course meals.

We had a lovely meal. The food was lovely, it was well cooked and lovely and warm. The staff were lovely and very attentive. A lovely place for a nice relaxing meal. If the weather is nice it also has a lovely outside seating area.

Lovely surroundings, inside and out. Great service, can’t fault it and the food was lovely.The only thing that could have been improved was adding some colour to the ham and eggs ie peas and/or tomatoes, mushrooms would have been welcome too. The food itself was gorgeous but only 4 stars for the reason given. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent service and food. It is always hard for us to visit any establishment as my Dad is in a wheelchair. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
