We Absolutely loved cooking our steak and lamb on the stone what a great experience..It was also a bonus that 95% of the bottles of wine were half price...The owner was very nice he contacted us when my husband had dropped his phone under the table He had the phone number and email since we had made a reservation on the site.. Our server was also very wonderful I would definitely recommend this place...Well I already have
Was a met amazing evening, I gave the food a 9 only because I am a repeat guest and the restaurant was out of oysters yet again, this was the main reason I chosen to dine at Lot 88 for our 10th anniversary so it was very disappointing. Otherwise our server was amazing, cheerful, ready to point out things to try, and efficient!
We always enjoy everything when we go. I have absolutely no complaints. Everything was fantastic.

We've eaten here a few times and it was great every time! The 10 oz Ribeye stone cooked I had recently was a very nice thick steak and the seasoning was excellent. May have to go back soon for another!
We loved that we were able to dine out on the patio due to the current pandemic. I would suggest propane patio heaters for the upcoming fall season which would make for warmer experience for both customers and servers.
We had to ask for cutlery & appetizer plates; so a bit annoying trying to eat our appetizers. That was really the only issue. Great food!

Amazing food and environment! In pandemic times, we felt they were very prepared and acting safe. There were signs on the floor, tables were far apart or with plexiglass between booths, every staff was wearing a mask.
Excellent food. Enjoyed the cook it yourself experience. We will return.

Steak lacked seasoning

We were at table 11. was a little dark. Needed a light from phone to read menu. Food was amazing as usual. Tried the Cali Cut New York. We laughed when it came. Didn't expect it to be so thick. It was an amazing steak. Waitress was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. Manager helped with food serving from kitchen and stopped by to see how everything was. Rated the ambiance a 7 only because it was a little dark for MY LIKING. only personal opinion. Have been a couple times and will definitely come back!! thank you for a great meal!!

Fabulous service. Easy booking. Mushroom skillet was boring. Needed garlic. Way way way too dark in there. Put a candle on the table for extra ambiance. Couldnt see the menu without my flashlight and couldnt see if our steak was cooked enough. During booking online I wrote that it was our anniversary but nothing special was done for that so why ask. We will def be back but try to find s better lit table so we dont have to use a flashlight. A candle would be pure perfection

Absolutely loved the food. I enjoyed the “rock” experience. Every bite was hot. We had 3 appetizers, all very good. The vegetables and the baked potato were brought to our table cold. Our waiter seemed to be a little over run. I thought the value was pretty descent. There were four in our group, we had drinks, appetizers, our meal and a dessert. If any thing, I would say, a little seasoning on the steak would be good. The Keg, goes overboard on seasoning, which is why we tried Lot 88.
I loved our waiter, he was great and didn't come bother us too many times and was just overall great! Food was a great amount for the $ that I spent
Our server, Julia, was great. Keep it up, Julia! The “stoned” steak was excellent. Especially the peppercorn. The kitchen forgot to put dressing on the California salad, but after asking, a 20% discount was applied All in all, a good experience.
Food was great, waiter and service were great. Poor lighting, drinks to expensive and boyfriend's food portion wasn't enough for him.

Lot88 has become one of our favorite restaurants. The chef clearly knows how to create flavors that are rich, but never cross the line to overwhelming. This is true for everything, including the desserts. What really stands out are the steaks or fish on a slab. You have to try these to see why they achieve perfect flavor and texture. The staff know how to make you feel welcome. My one suggestion is to serve salad or appetizers first, rather than with the meal. I don't recall if that was the practice on previous visits. Maybe it was just last night that we got salad with the main course. Anyway, a minor point. Generally, a great dining experience!
I had reserved a table for two for my son's s birthday for 4:30 p.m. When we arrived there was no one in the reception area and no bell to ring to alert staff we were waiting. We did get seating fairly quickly in an almost empty room, which was not encouraging. We both loved the menu and the array of selections, given that not everyone wants to eat beef. I ordered baked salmon and it was excellent. Overall, I found the food quite pricey but didn't mind as we were celebrating. Our main course arrived right after our soup, the server should have waited for us to finish out soup before delivering the main course. Our waiter was courteous and willing to answer questions. The servings were too large to suit me, but then I should not have ordered an appetizer as well as soup, my fault. Next time I will know better. I will think seriously before coming back; one had the sense that the restaurant is on the edge of bankruptcy.

Overall a pretty great evening...I have an issue with paying for horseradish I have eaten all over the world and have never been charged for a condiment. when i am paying 40.00 for a steak. Charge me 50 or 60.00 and don't nickel and dime me and charge for small extra's. It was good but not something that I would be running the bell running down the street to promote Hy's in Hawaii did not charge for meal complements. I might go back food was tasty

Server had a few errors with our order. Only brought 3 plates for 4 people for appetizers...so she needs to focus on details, and she was training someone ...yikes! It was not busy, and others brought our food to the table and looked after the food mistakes promptly! We were celebrating 2 anniversaries, and no mention of a dessert to share was offered, even though the fact of the anniversaries was noted when the reservation was made ( we were charged for the shared dessert which other steak restaurants would give it for free) Food was delicious, and our friends really enjoyed it.
Our waitress was wonderful. Steak was very good but Caesar salad was dry. It be nice if bread/buns was included in the meal as does the Keg. Ambiance is nice but at 5:30 lights are dimmed and was too dark.
Steaks were over spiced, too salty. Otherwise enjoyed the night. Service was very good and quick.

The steaks were over seasoned with pepper and salt. We also thought the server would tell us how long to cook seafood for (on the stone) but she didn’t and we were confused at first, so some explanation would have been great. Other than that everything was good.
We were disappointed the servers were not wearing masks and leaned over the table to serve food. The experience was great. We all loved our meat but the baked potatoes were far from desirable.
