We sat in the outside courtyard and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. We chose the selection of tapas - very tasty and good sized portions. Unfortunately the toffee apple dessert was tough and chewy and disappointing. Fair play, I was brought another but it lacked the warm comforting taste of toffee apple . However, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would definitely return to The Fig.

Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and very helpful/friendly staff. Food was delicious especially the Ribeye Steak which wad perfectly cooked and seasoned. Starters, Calamari and Pork bites were scrumpscious. Only thing we werent sure about was the seasoning on the fries but stillbwent down well. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely food! Upstairs, one is very conscious of the toilet and people waiting outside. Might be better if there was a partition dividing the toilet area from the upstairs eating area. Hope this is helpful.

There are lots of gluten free options but not if you were also vegetarian. Food itself was good but nothing special, not worth the price. Staff were friendly and courteous but distracted by a large party upstairs. Service was slow even though we arrived before the large party.

Two of us had the Fig Burger & fries which was great. My husband & a friend chose the smoked haddock which was ok. The portion size was small & there were bones in the fish. Service was good from young enthusiastic staff.

This was our first visit to The Fig and we loved it. It’s a small venue with a limited menu but this is good, everything is done beautifully. The food was delicious, we chose the tapas and desserts. I think we also had the best table, upstairs at the back, quiet and with comfy sofas! Finally, there was a young waitress, 16 I believe, she did very well, I think someone complained about her but we thought she was great and her boss/manager was very welcoming and friendly. Oh and it’s nearly all gluten free and vegan, we’re neither of these but appreciate this makes The Fig inclusive and everything was delicious. Well done!

Another delicious meal at The Fig! Lots of people in for pre-theatre (like us) and a big party upstairs meant they were stretched, but that didn’t show in the food or the excellent customer service. Have the K-Pop burger. I’m still dreaming about it!

Serving drinks that aren’t complete eg cocktails with half the ingredients and not informing us they don’t have ingredients and still wanting to charge ( not good) this should have been stated before ordering , there was only two tables of dinners when we arrived and service was very slow , food was ok but will not be returning ! Very disappointing .

Unfortunately we waited for about 3/4 hour for our food to be served. One of our party had only one hour to spare so had to rush eating her food which spoilt it for the rest of us. It would have been appreciated had the waitress come to the table to apologise for the delay instead of which I had to go to ask what was happening. It won't put us off returning as I hope this isn't the norm. The food itself was well presented and very tasty and a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Hello to all, Such a lovely day on Saturday 16th. Such wonderful service and such "yummy" food. The only issue for myself is that perhaps the music was a bit too loud inside as the louder the music the louder customers talk in order to be heard. It was not a full house inside at the time of our visit and of course without any soft furnishings sound is an issue for SO MANY eateries. Have taken a photo of my food choice and am showing it to all my friends. Keep up the good work....5***** Joyful of Malvern

Very disappointing experience. One of the staff was pleasant - the other one not. We were not told on booking that the restaurant closed at 9.30 and were pressured to leave ( no time to have coffee or another drink). Food was mediocre - my risotto was extremely Al dente and I should really have sent it back. This restaurant sets itself up as a buzzy , fun tapas style relaxed restaurant but it is far from being that. I would not recommend it .

We would highly recommend visiting The Fig. My husband really really enjoyed his steak and Chips and lemon cheesecake. I loved my delicious Pulled pork loaded fries ,with a really fresh salad ,and a homemade Passionfruit sorbet. My ‘mojito’ and coffee was spot on too. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a good value for Money night out . We wish we lived closer so we could come back again.

It’s clear they have staffing problems as they were turning walk-ins away when they had loads of tables. Food and service was good, but by the time we were 10 mins into our meal the very small restaurant was empty, which does not make for a great experience. A shame cos it put a dampener on the evening. We could have sat at home on our own and saved the money!!

The day we visited there had been a problem with ordering resulting in 60% of the (limited) menu being unavailable. What was served was not well cooked. Two other tables complained in our hearing. The service was pleasant but the bathroom was not clean. Neither I nor my guests will visit again

We had a wonderful evening, with tasty food - tapas and mixed fries, all v yummy! - a couple of nicely made cocktails, and some delicious puddings. The two ladies serving us were simply wonderful, and despite being really busy, were unfailingly cheerful and making sure everyone there was having a great time! There was a real "buzz" about the place! We'll definitely go again next time we're in Malvern. Highly recommended!

The dishes were expensive for what they were, the aubergine dish in particular seemed poor falue for money - the aubergine was spongy and the flavour not very exciting. The ambience was OK, but it was clear they were closing up so that was a shame. The waitress was wonderful though, made up for everything!

Unfortunately, you couldn’t provide the cocktail we requested which was on the menu. The Garlic Bread, wasn’t garlicky, which we did remark at the time but nothing was done. Sorry, a bit disappointing.

Excellent service, good ambience (music was definitely our era) I felt the tapas could have been improved upon, eg cauliflower (in my opinion) was bland, check out the Engine at Sowerby Bridge, enginesocial.co.uk , their cauliflower dish is amazing!

We had booked inside but changed our mind when we got there. The staff were so accommodating and managed to seat us outside. The food, service and ambience was great! We will definitely be returning!

The only thing (coming from a restaurant manager perspective) would be to neaten up the uniforms and ad hoc misplaced items like rucksacks and boxes. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyable! And Jai was a cracker of a waiter!

Lovely meal and staff really friendly. My only criticism was that we ordered 6 tapas in anticipation of ordering more, and when we went to order more at 830pm they advised that the kitchen had turned off everything and started cleaning down, and minutes later further tapas came out for another table which would have required a frier and heating equipment. Seemed disappointing as paying customers, particularly for a tapas restaurant where the ethos is gradual eating. We will be back but will be mindful of ordering more in the first instance

The food was overpriced for what we had and not very tasty. We had 6 small plates. Felt like everything was just cooked from bought frozen items. About £7 for 3 of the minutest bits of hard bread with a bit of tomato on top is ridiculous and is not Bruschetta by anyone's thinking. The chicken wings were anaemic looking with a bit of BBQ sauce dribbled over them. And having to pay a £10 deposit each is bad enough but to lose one for a sick friend when I cancelled the day before is deplorable. We won't be going back.

I have a gluten allergy and it great that most of the food was gluten free and I didn’t have to read an allergy book to find out what I could eat. The burger bun I had was one of the best I have ever had and way beyond the quality of the supermarket offerings. The burger and cheesecake were also great. It’s a shame that we there whilst we were on holiday so can’t visit again.

Wonderful experience at The Fig, firs time going there and will definitely be back. We went on Saturday and the rain/storm started just after, their bookings were full for inside and so we had booked for outside. Well the rain last torrential and the staff were do kind and said they couldn't let us be outside in that and very kindly found us a table inside and contacted future bookings for that day to push them back. The menu options were fabulous especially as I am dairy free and my mum gluten. The only downfall was the wait as it was a little longer than we liked but you can tell that it's cooked and prepared with care! Can't wait to go back already!
