A little gem Delicious food in a lovely venue in the heart of the city. Extremely well priced for the quality and taste experience. Doesn't photograph well, partly due to the plates used- personally I would prefer plain plates so you can see how lovely the food is :-) The waitress was just lovely and had we been in Aberdeen longer, we would definitely have gone back.

The food was interesting and well done. Service was excellent and personal. Very unfortunate is that the outside sheltered seating area disappeared. The Green lost its lively atmosphere. And the businesses nearby are negative influenced negative by the renovation of the Green. Why was so much tax money waisted while the council has budget difficulties?

Cafe 52 is always a treat and I was excited and proud to have lunch there with friends who hadn't been before. The range of options on the menu take you on a delicious journey of spices, blends and seasonally appropriate ingredients. Had a lovely light lunch with a longstanding friend. We both enjoyed the food very much, including the obligatory fried parsnips with honey! So reasonably priced - don’t know how Steve does it! Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc equally well priced & delicious. Overall, an excellent meal with delightful, efficient & caring staff. On such a beautiful sunny day & warm for Aberdeen, especially in September, how we wished the outdoor covered area had not been forcibly removed! There are very few places where one can have an outdoor feel, let alone a dining area in the centre of Aberdeen. What a loss!!!

Lovely birthday meal treat. One of us ordered mackerel, the other herring, both were delicious and healthy too. We had kale as one of the sides. First time I have ever enjoyed kale and I will be trying to replicate this at home. Service was very good, and waiting staff friendly and attentive despite the cafe being busy. Cafe 52 is my favourite restaurant. I'll be back!

Just the best eaterie in town. Everything freshly cooked from local sources. Very relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff. Imaginative menu,something for everyone. It’s been a constant in Aberdeen for nearly 30 yrs,which is hard going for locals considering the amount of chain eateries in town.
