On-line booking worked a treat.
On our arrival a member of staff greeted us courteously and showed us to our table. Ordering of food was easy and it was certainly delivered in a timely manner. Everything which was cooked was piping hot and the sandwiches had a good filling in them. No complaints and we will take lunch here again in the future.
The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere was unobtrusive. You cannot hear other diners conversations and they presumably cannot hear yours. Soft furnishings look good but also baffle noise and in this instance they certainly did what they were designed to do.

Yes we just decided on Sunday to go out for something to eat after our walk so glad there was room for us. We had a panini and scone to share as we knew that would be enough at the time. As usual everything was good the food and coffee was excellent always a big helping too. Thank you.

We enjoyed our meal very much and even although we were half an hour late in arriving due to a puncture we were made welcome.
Coffee was lovely as were the scones and the Cullen skink delicious. The macaroni was slightly tasteless apparently - maybe requires a different cheese.

Our group meets every month and we pick Drum .This was the first time that some of us got their meal really late , others had finished the main course and 4 others were waiting and getting to the stage that they wanted to cancel the food, spoils the lunch. Not the best but maybe they were short staffed . Hopefully next time it will be ok.

First time for breakfast at Drum. Normally love the food but the breakfast was not great. Waffles were slightly burnt not enough maple syrup to cover taste and scrambled eggs were not good with breakfasts. Don’t think we would come back for breakfast. Stick with lunch or cuppa and cake as always a winner.

The queue for the teas and coffees was very slow due to the volume of customers. It would have been very helpful and convenient if the second till point where coffee can be served from was opened. I would have liked another cup of coffee but was not prepared to wait another 15 minutes to be served.

Sadly The food service was extremely slow. Initially we were served quickly and shown to our table, the meet and greet was friendly and we didn’t queue for very long.
It then took just under half an hour to queue to order the food! The lady who was taking the orders kept wandering off to give soup to customers! why she didn’t continue taking orders and allowing other waitresses to deliver food, I don’t know.
Our booking was 1pm and we finally received our food at 1.35pm.
We were going to have a tea/coffee after our lunch but it would have meant queueing again. And by this time the queue was even longer than when we had joined it.

I was with my Nephew and his partner from Dornoch where the Mains of Drum is our favourite garden centre to visit. We can always be sure of a warm welcome from the friendly staff and plenty of variety in the menu, It's also a good place to shop if your looking for that special gift for someone. I make appoint of making regular visits during the year and I can't see next year being any different.

There was a deal on at £5 for breakfast rolls and a coffee which was a good offer. However, when it arrived we got a cold roll with bacon that had been cooked well before we got it and a poached egg that was not cooked. The white was still raw in places. Not the high standards we expect of the Drum.

Staff were knowledgeable about food allergies and the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. There was a great range of genuine gluten free cakes on offer. All staff were pleasant and welcoming, and the lady at the till was particularly helpful and friendly, and she made a lovely hot soya latte. Cannot fault this place.

We went for breakfast for my husband's birthday treat as he like going there.My one problem was being shown to the table and given menus I then had to go back and stand in line again for 10 minutes to order which meant we had waited to check in and then had to wait again behind the people just getting coffee and scones.The staff were efficient and very helpful but maybe this is something that could be looked at although we realise it has not been easy for you.Maybe , a large breakfast menu placed at the waiting area ,then one person could order while other is seated. Only a minor problem but my husband wondered where I had gone to!
