Went to dog friendly lounge with 2 black labs for lunch after lovely walk along Newburgh beach.Very friendly staff , quick service which reduced stress to eating out with 2 dogs , water provided for dogs and extensive and reasonably priced menu.
All in all great and in fact bought voucher online for brother and wife's anniversary.

Really enjoyed our evening at “the view”, great atmosphere and couldn’t fault the service. Will definitely be back again. The only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of choice on the menu for me as a coeliac. Most things were fried, or came with chips that weren’t done in a separate fryer. Perhaps a bigger range of options in the evening that aren’t fried? Nice to have pub style food but would also be nice to have some more variety like steaks or fish with mash or other potatoes for example. Looking at the menus there are plenty gluten free options at breakfast and lunch but evening was lacking. Having said that our meals were delicious, so nice to have another dining option in Newburgh.

Had a fabulous evening meal here looking out over the golf course and part of the bay. Staff were incredibly attentive but didn’t make you feel rushed or hovering for finished plates. Smashing selection of beers on tap including brew dog! Marvellous experience and would return!
Only a few recommendations but only a personal preference, different music as some songs were on repeat; improve the restaurant dining area as it doesn’t reflect the brilliant staff and delicious food. But as said above, fabulous experience and would return again!

Thank you for a fantastic lunch - food was first class with fresh ingredients. Staff are absolutely brilliant - they make you feel very special and if they aren't serving they are cleaning. They even went the extra mile by supplying a birthday balloon on the table. A very special feel good experience every time!! Staff are all a credit to you.

As described the view across the golf course was superb. We found the ambience somewhat affected as being a large open space it was quite noisy. The food was good and reasonably priced. Wine slightly expensive we thought. Staff friendly, courteous and efficient. Covid precautions effective but not intrusive.

Firstly, the young girls and service was spot on, however, my daughters chicken burger was very rubbery/chewy, the batter on my fish was really oily/greasy and my wife's burger was just an everyday Value beef burger! Chips varied from dish to dish, but weren't the best! The desserts were all well presented and tasty. Great views but the venue, with vaulted ceilings is quite loud with lots of background noise and echo. The toilets are shared with the golf course and weren't that tidy, with the towel bin brimming and used towels on the floor. To summarise - Disappointed!

Lovely restaurant with beautiful views. With well spaced out tables and liked the separate entry and exit doors. Food was great, I struggle to get a big salad when eating out and it was perfect and the grilled chicken wasn’t oily, just like I asked for it to be. Didn't realise when booking that they allow dogs - place smelt of wet dog.
1 of our party returned undercooked gammon steak for it to be replaced with an over salted unedible gammon steak.
No poppadoms served with the curry.
Topped macaroni was bland, missing the bbq sauce also.
The sticky toffee pudding was good though!

Love the spacious, airy atmosphere with floor to ceiling windows with a view over the golf course. Staff very attentive and friendly and food delicious. The one way system to enter and exit has hand sanitizer stations at each point and spaces between tables are ample :)

Food was very nice. The bread on both the garlic bread and burger buns wasn’t great had possibly been frozen and not fully thawed. Let the dishes down. Otherwise lovely and very well presented.
When we got there the staff weren’t sure what was or wasn’t on the menu. I was surprised that brunch finished at 12 as that’s what we’d hoped to have. No Sunday lunch on the menu either: The restaurant is beautiful and we’ve been before but this time, the area we were seated at didn’t smell the best!

Friendly staff but very slow service even though it was not busy. Food greasy over done especially chips if you are going to do onion rings make sure there is onion in them !
If you going to use blancher plate for chicken make sure that it's clean of other foods.

What a relaxing atmosphere there is at the View - partly due to the stunning views around but also because the staff are very welcoming and engaging. There’s a great choice of meals on the menu (it took me ages to decide what to have for breakfast) & the quality of the food/presentation is fabulous. I can’t wait to go back.

Great first time experience regarding the setting and food however, not suitable for a quick lunch as the service is quite slow. During the current Covid situation it was rather cool due to the windows and door being open for ventilation otherwise it would have been fine.

Excellent venue, great views. Overall the experience was above average with some minor issues which need review and relates to initial table service settling in, menus and drink order and extended period between order and delivery to table, just under 1 hour which is 20 minutes too long more so where children are involved. Nevertheless an enjoyable visit and one which will prompt a return.

Lovely food, fantastic view. Nice touch having a birthday balloon for my friend attached to the table. Few minor glitches - asked for no ice in drink, it came with ice. Asked for sauce to be separate from main meal, it came covered in the sauce. As I say all minor and could have been rectified if we’d really wanted. Pleasant staff and good value for money.?

The view is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the outstanding views. The food was good, although quite expensive for the basic choices on the lunch menu. Variety of food options was good, catering for various dietary needs. The servers were lovely. Only downfall was that we waited an hour for our food, despite our choices being ‘quick and easy’ options.

This was our first visit, but will definitely not be our last! Nice, clean restaurant with lovely sea and golf course outlook.
Service excellent, and food excellent. Fish was fresh and very tasty. A few children’s options and also the chance to choose smaller portions of some main menu dishes.
Also very wheelchair friendly,

With the new covis rules it seemed a bit strange but the View followed all the regs to make sure everyone was safe.
Food was excellent and they have a super pint of IPA.

We were served our sharing starter at same time as our main courses! We suggested we cancel the starter but waitress suggested we have it and could take home anything we couldn’t manage! Doing them a favour I thought there might be a discount!!!!
Sweets - my husband asked if he could just have ice cream - was given 2 small scoops in a cardboard tub - and charged £4.95 !!
Our second visit - this time treating our grandson after good exam results ( mentioned on booking)- but service and staff were nowhere near as efficient as our first visit a few weeks ago!
