Amazing steak as usual, the kids enjoyed their S&P squid and pizza. The one waitress coped really well with a full dining room and the bar with minimal help.
It took a little while for the food to come out but that was understandable with number of diners present and a deep fryer going on the blink. We go every new year's day for dinner and haven't been disappointed yet.

We go the The Anglers Inn every time we go to our beach house and usually it is very good. Being Sunday a roast was the special feature so I was expecting a good old-fashioned country roast dinner however the meat and roast potatoes were SO salty and the pork was stringy and dry. I left most of it on my plate and ate the steamed veggies and Yorkshire puddings. I was so very disappointed. I should have said something but we were with a friend and I didn’t want to make a scene. Won’t be ordering a roast again….it has kind of put me off going back any time soon.
