We are a small traditional Portuguese restaurant which pairs organic ingredients and our ancestors recipes to produce fresh and authentic dinner options.

We have had our door open for over 15 years. During this time we have consistently delivered home-cooked meals in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Because we are a small restaurant, we limit our table size to 4 guests in order to maintain our quality of food and service. We look forward to serving you.

Currently, we only accept reservations between 19:00 - 19:45. Your reservation will be held for 5 minutes. After that, your table will be released if you have not arrived.
Between 19:45 - 21:30 we accept walk-ins. We look forward to serving you.

We booked this restaurant because we were looking for a more traditional meal than the usual tourist menu and we were not disappointed. As you enter you are greeted by the owner, Ricky, a wonderful and charismatic man. Ricky enthusiastically talked us through the menu and offered suggestion of what to order and gave some background to how the dishes were prepared and details of the specific ingredients – even down to the humble potatoes uses, which it turns out he grows himself on his family farm. I had the Seafood Cataplana whist my wife had some delicious fresh roasted Cod. Generous portions of well-prepared food topped with some local ingredients made for a memorable evening. If you ask nicely, Ricky will even share recipes and cooking suggestions with you. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Don’t be put off by the slightly off the typical tourist district location, its still only 10 minutes from the centre of old town and well worth the trip.

We enjoyed it so much that we went back two days later. Seafood and steak was excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will certainly go back when we go back to faro

We got the clams and carrots as an appetizer for the main courses we got the octopus and black pork. Everything was amazing.
