The server was very personable, the food was excellent, along with the value. The only thing that I thought was odd is that they knew we were there for our 30th wedding anniversary and did not offer a little dessert to share to celebrate.

Everything was so nice. 2 of us had the twin lobsters and the third I party enjoyed the maple glazed salmon with walnuts. Their sauted veggies are a wonderful side. Both meals were delicious.

Everything about our New Year's Eve at the Bugeye Grill was amazingly wonderful
We had crab stuffed lobster which was divine and a genuine Smith Island cake for dessert. There was a special cocktail for the evening and the dining ambiance with piano music were perfection. Our server was so gracious and the decor is polished
and inviting plus double table linens and perfect lighting. Truly 5 Star in every way.

Superb view of river. Christmas lights everywhere. Linen tablecloths. We were utterly charmed. We will go back. Had the good fortune to have the bartender, Brian, doubling as our waiter. Got expert advice on cocktails. Got steak and salmon. Both were excellent. Prices were not low but fair. Worth it.

This place is a 10/10 for me. Starting with the atmosphere, it is a beautiful space in the evening. Dining outside surrounded by the lights was a vibe. The service was amazing, and our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly sweet and funny. The food was incredible, and well worth the price. Will be going there again.

This was our first time at Bug Eye Grill and we were very impressed. We did not realize they have a happy Hour from 4 to 6 and we were able to enjoy some excellent appetizers and purchase a bottle of champagne and leave a substantial tip for the waitress for less that $100 for the two of us. We felt well fed, got to sit on the second floor balcony with a view of the Bay and the sunset and feel quite upscale. We will definitely return.

It was $5.00 off sandwiches night. Two of us ordered the Rockfish sandwich. The half piece of fish did not fill the bun. It was sad and pitiful. Maybe the cook cuts the serving size on these nights. The management should be embarrassed to serve such a tiny portion for any reason. Way too cold inside.

The raw oysters were nearly inedible. They weren't shucked properly and I had a tough time prying them from their shells. The crabcake was outstanding and delicious. The server wasvery friendly and kept watch over my table.
