This place is so wonderful. I love that it’s a home. Turned into a cozy beautiful wine bar. The details were vintage and the porch views were even better. Loved being able to self serve the wine.

We were impressed on our first visit. This dining venue offers a quality menu perfectly prepared / plated and paired with an excellent selection of cocktails and wine. Our server, Carleton, was professional, attentive and personable without being overly intrusive. We look forward to dining at Ilda on future visits to the Sylva area.

Loved my experience. Atmosphere inviting with great music. Based upon reviews the meatball appetizer was a must. It did not disappoint. I dined alone so 2 meatballs were a to go & were very good the next day. My server Jullile (?) was extremely helpful in my decision making. I thoroughly enjoyed the Branzino. I look forward to a return.

The service from Madison, our server was excellent. The specialty cocktail made and served by Antoinne was excellent. When Chef Santiago is on site, which he was that evening, it is an experience for food that is not the norm for where we live in Sylva, NC and we are very willing to pay for that experience with this very talented chef who has been changing the scene in our community with great food. Every item we ordered from the menu was excellent. And, we ordered a lot because I wanted to taste a lot of his creativity. I will say that we have eaten at the restaurant many times prior to our evening and it was not what we would have expected, but the chef was not on site at those times. I do believe the experience of the food comes from the chef and he is the bomb. We will continue to frequent the establishment, it is a great asset to our community and we very much appreciate what he brings to our small part of WNC. We also appreciate his service to our community in may ways that a lot of folks may not realize.

My wife and I had the pleasure of sitting at the bar, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The two bartenders are exceptional—if I could, I’d sit and chat with them over a drink every day. Their craft is incredible (trust me on this), and the cocktail menu is merely a starting point; they bring their magic to life based on your preferences. Beyond the drinks, the food preparation and presentation were outstanding. The entire experience at Ilda made us feel truly welcomed and comfortable. I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing to say—bravo to the team!

I take my Wife out every month to ILDA and here is why. when we walk in we are greeted with love and respect, the staff knows this is a special night. we are seated and immediately attended to, making sure my wife and I are comfortable and informed about the nightly specials. when placing a drink order, the staff explains in great detail the process and ingredients, taking me on a journey before I even taste the cocktail or wine. they also offer non-alcoholic options for nights we don't feel like drinking. food is always unique and creative, presentation is on point and overall service is just enough to allow for intimate conversation. after a full ILDA experience I am left fully satisfied. my date is impressed and we felt like we just left grandmas house, warm and cozy. ILDA is Family and if you understand the preparation that goes into your experience, you will return again and again

This is my fourth time to eat at Ilda and it is always wonderful! We have a vacation house in the mountains and love taking our guests there for dinner. Also love going to the Wine Bar!

The wine expert at Sante was extremely knowledgeable and did a GREAT JOB of describing the available wines. Our dinner that followed at Ilda was absolutely divine! From the appetizer, to each entree’ ordered and ending with dessert … every bite incredible. Thank you!

Excellent meal, best food in WNC. The whole staff work in a team fashion and have great attention to detail. The mixologists are the best! The only tweak would be to slow down the service a bit, felt like there was a rush to clear plates and bring the next course. And NEVER ask about dessert while one anyone at the table is still eating their entree! The young waiter was well meaning I just don’t think he’d ever been instructed in some finer points.

We could not have been more pleased. The chef was able to accommodate my vegan diet, which was delightful. The service, was impeccable and the inhouse made lemoncello, amazing. We enjoyed Sante, The Wine Bar before going to dinner. Kevin is THE BEST and just getting to know Jenna. So great. Really knowledge and great selections.
