Was there with family....three children, aged 3 - 5! We were seated at the Captain's Table, as private as possible. The service was impeccable, and our waiter was very attentive and understanding! All in all, it was a fun evening.

This is coming from someone who is blown away by the fantastic food experience at PHP. I simply do not know how it is possible to offer constantly new menu options, service in 3 dining areas, daily fresh choices in Provisions, food for special events and parties and more even on weekends and holidays. Our latest meal in Irby was delightful. We even had Hudson for our server and it doesn’t get any better than that. I am one of any number of members with medical dietary restrictions and it is always possible for me to have a great meal just eating from the menus. In any community and especially senior communities there will be folks who are unreasonably demanding and I wish they could think more about how PHP is the best place to live and take note of the staff’s constant effort to address our concerns. If you aren’t happy at PHP, where would you be happy.

The only complaint I have is that the soup was overpowered with the taste of the herb seasoning that was used. It was minestrone and all I could taste was the Italian seasoning, mostly oregano , that was used. This is often the case when using herbs. Less is always better!

Both lunch and dinner on the 24th were perfect. Lunch was a birthday celebration for 5 of my friends from outside. Carmen absolutely made it a joyful experience. My friends loved their salads and the grilled cheese with broccoli was well received. Chef and Carmen graciously served a cake that I brought and Carmen serenaded the birthday girl. Several of them live at Lenbrook and commented that our food is much better than theirs. Dinner with Kris as our server was delightful. Kris accommodated several special dietary substitution requests and his friendly, courteous attention set the tone for a lovely dinner experience. Food is one of if not the best the hilights of living at PHP and our entire culinary staff needs to feel our love and appreciation for the extra effort they put into providing such excellence for us.
