This was a pre-opening event, so ambiance was under construction. Food and service were excellent. really nice folks running the business. Chef very personable. Will be a great addition to our South 1st neighborhood..

We loved trying 1417! We understand there are growing pains so I want to offer our feedback. The tables were too small to accommodate plates - we were at a 2 top and barely had room for our food plates + drinks. Also the tables were very close together, which is fine but not ideal because I felt like the staff were kinda squeezing between folks to get around. Overall would go back, but would wait until more construction is finished so the crowd can spread out more.
