I don't have the meal plan but every time I've eaten in the dining terrace, I've been very impressed with the staff, food, portions, and value for the money. I ate in the dining terrace for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They did not disappoint. Everything was excellent. Morrison Company does an outstanding job. My only complaint, which is more my fault is it's hard for me to schedule a day/time for terrace dining and normally just grab something at the Bistro. I do understand how they need to know approximately how many meals they need to prepare on any given day, and they do put out the weekly menu far enough in advance. I'm just not to the point of being able to set aside time for meals I would like to do and/or just plain forget.

FOr the meal on June 20 it was excellent supper. The salmon was perfect. Every dish was very very tasty which is not always the case and it is disappointing at least half of the time because the food has no special flavor or special presentation and poorly prepared. it’s just kind of bland and it’s very disappointing and then when you have such an excellent meal that looks good, Tastes good cook perfectly you wonder why this doesn’t happen every time. I’m sorry that many of our residents don’t appreciate fine food preparation like the testing kitchen, for instance, and insist on such plain food, perhaps you could supply condiments to add to the food for those who prefer some seasoning and pretty presentation. The food items supplied are fine, is just the preparation that gets a little poorly done at times. Seems to me that the cook could taste what they’re preparing and if they liked it or didn’t like it I hope they would fix it. Not just send it out to the poor resident at our mercy.

I must tell you how much our table enjoyed the Brazilian Dinner except we thought the Prime Rib was tough and it has been tough previously when we have had it. I realize we do want it medium well and the proper way to eat it is rare to medium. Everything else was absolutely delicious! I can still remember that Bread Pudding! Who ever made it should get a bonus.$$ Daniel thank you for the table that accommodated our group of 10 friends so that we could eat together. The servers were outstanding!. Thank you to the great Chefs and kitchen staff!. Special praise to Liberty who always makes a special effort to please us.. I don’t know how they do such a wonderful job with these special dinners. Thanks to all of your staff. You have made another memory for us.

The only shortfall, that I see, is the understandable shortage of waitstaff... the folks on "duty" are alert, helpful and most pleasant. Our nationally pervasive attitude regarding work as offensive and to be avoided is affecting many who might otherwise realize the joy and rewards of being responsible and productive.

Sadly, our guest son had to settle for a turkey sandwich from the Bistro because the chicken ran out before we came down for our 12:30 reservation and was not expected to be available for another hour or more because it had to come out of the freezer! My husband settled for a hamburger instead of chicken. We never saw the green beans. A disappointing holiday at the Pinnacle.

Servers are very helpful. In fact the whole staff is very nice. They don't always understand our needs, but the service is always above average especially considering the staff shortage.
