The hotel is decorated beautifully and the rooms are well appointed. The staff very helpful and friendly. The food is outstanding definitely the best I have eaten. Chris the chef is extremely talented.

The food is extremely good and special, the wine was delicious and the restaurant has a lovely view. Best food in the local area and actually very reasonable.

As always, a delicious meal in a beautiful place. Friendly, efficient service, nothing is too much trouble, and a special treat of extra petit fours with coffee. Our favourite place to eat in Galloway.

Lovely secluded hotel in New Luce first time we have stayed but already looking forward to next visit, room lovely with everything that you would need and first class food, absolutely nothing to complain about.

we went for Sunday lunch and were very happy with the whole experience. The beef was maybe a little tough and i would like to have visited again for a weekday meal, but ran out of time during our holiday.

Five of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Waiting staff were very accommodating when one of our party changed their mind about their main course. A bit off the beaten track but well worth it. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our dinner and the service. Food faultless and delicious. Wine could have a bigger list and some older, dated wine. Not sure the coffee machine was working properly. it looked good bur didn't taste of coffee. Didn't say anything as we had had such a lovely evening. All in all, miles better than anything in Stranraer. A triumph and we will be back.
