Charleston's cuisine is designed and executed by Chef Cindy Wolf. Chef Wolf's ever-evolving menu reflects her classic training, passion for world travel, love of small farms and superior ingredients and creative whimsy. The cuisine is American--founded on classical French cuisine while inspired by the traditions and ingredients of the American Southeast.

Pierpoint opened in October 1989 as a casual fine dining restaurant. The restaurant was the brainchild of Chef Nancy Longo who wanted to serve contemporary Maryland-style food to Marylanders as well as out-of-town guests so they could rediscover the bounties of the Chesapeake.
