The Brooklin Inn is is our favorite restaurant on the peninsula and beyond. The food is consistently delicious. The eggplant, brussel sprouts, anything duck and the gnocchi are our favorites and prepared perfectly. Drinks are no different, well done classics and l'adventura (hope I'm spelling it right) is the bartenders innovation.
They have managed to meet the needs of both the locals and the tourists, becoming not just the best restaurant but the best business on the peninsula and beyond. We are grateful for you!

The best server came out of winter retirement to make us laugh and keep us moving with the night. Basketball and yummy food. My hand was almost bitten when I reached for a bit of hamburger. Perfect "pickled" shrimp as Madam Ari called them. Everything was warm and wonderful, even if my daughters were telling dirty stories in our tiny little public community restaurant. The word you heard was: Bussy - ask Matt if you don't know what it means. ahem.

The interior design is as pleasing as the food and the food was wonderful. At our table there were orders of halibut, hamburger, Brussels sprouts and…. I can’t remember but each of us was delighted with our choice. The portions were generous. The staff were pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable.

As always, a great experience. Food is delicious as always. I'd like a little more variety in the starters, but other than that everything is wonderful Love the staff, they are so attentive without being overbearing. They add a 20% charge to each bill to be sure that the entire staff is taken care of. I hope that it works for them!

ONly complaint is the excessive noise - which could be remedied - or at least reduced - with area rugs, fabric panels, or fabric art on the walls - anything to absorb the loud chatter would help.

Terrific experience from start to finish. From the spare but welcoming decor, to the charming, knowledgeable waitstaff, to the ambitious, clean-flavored food, a delight. We loved this perfect little inn. It provided a restful getaway for us in a setting of lush gardens and thoughtful touches. Our room was delightful and simple--no fussy "Laura Ashley" decor--just clean and light and restful with a wonderful bed and white duvet. The self-service breakfast was elegant--fresh and delicious with a variety of fresh and healthy choices including berries and homemade scones.

We eat at the Brooklin Inn 3 or 4 times each year. This time we were in the dining room rather than outdoors. The dining room is airy and bright from the large windows and evening light. The lamb shoulder and the fresh fish stew were amazing, as was the orange polenta cake. Jenny and Pi run a great Inn and restaurant.

Overall a memorable experience.
Food was delicious, interesting and beautifully presented. The one exception was the ribeye steak. The meat was cooked perfectly but it was very tough. I took most of it back to the B & B in hopes of doing something to make it more tender. We’ll see how that goes.

We love eating at The Brooklin Inn - both inside in the dining room and outside when the weather permits. There is always something delicious to eat and the staff are so welcoming! Can't wait to go back!

We had an incredible experience. Warm and friendly staff in charming settings in the pub and then the dining room. The meals were creatively planned, marrying ingredients, flavors and seasonings expertly, and it was all absolutely delicious. What a delight!

We were just looking for something open for dinner late in the season (Sept. 30), so were grateful you were open. Then, what a meal! The oysters were wonderful, and excellent chicken schnitzel, and pork meatloaf. We appreciate that you are trying to be sustainable, and paying living wages to your staff. Thank you for a fine meal!
