We loved everything about our evening there!
Fried chicken was perfect.
Sitting outside, eating, excellent food, served by a welcoming, unpretentious, staff was a delight. A perfect evening.
As you can see, we had a wonderful experience. We were entertaining guests and it was a hit with them also. Every meal we chose was presented well, and tasted delicious. The oysters were the sweetest I've ever had. Well done, Brooklin Inn!
Perfect evening under the stars. Thanks!!
Delicious food. Excellent social distancing. Lovely atmosphere outdoor. Friendly and helpful staff
Such a lovely experience all around. Fantastic food and service. So sweet. Loved it and will be back. Thanks to all the great staff and chef!
The Brooklin Inn has done a lovely job of creating a great dining experience during this Covid time. The grounds are beautiful with cheerily clad picnic tables comfortably spaced. The waitstaff are welcoming and the food is delicious. We enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning!
The Brooklin inn has excellent food and we love the ambience they have created with their backyard garden picnic tables.
Atmosphere and food were very good.
The food is wonderful and they’re doing a great job with current circumstances.
Amazing experience! Can’t wait to go back!
Lovely outdoor seating. Good food.
We loved the Brooklin Inn so much that, after we checked out and traveled 45 minutes north to a different location, we made the drive back down for dinner one night. It’s atmosphere is cool meets hometown meets summer outside and the food was phenomenal, locally sourced, hyper fresh, and a fantastic value to top it off. We I’ll not only be eating here on our next trip to the peninsula but will be staying at the Inn again too!
All the food was delicious. The setting was lovely. They handled Covid restrictions in a way that felt safe but still provided a relaxed dining experience. Staff was friendly.
What a cute and fun place! Great music piping from the outdoor speaker and food to match the casual atmosphere. Delicious gazpacho, lobster on toast, sweet corn salad and a bottle of French bubbles to top off our delightful evening at this little gem.
Jenn and Pi have this down! They have totally figured out how to outsmart Covid and make dining a really enjoyable (and safe) treat!! Great job. Jim and Melinda
You couldn’t improve on this experience! Every single thing was terrific. The food was all wonderful. I think we ordered everything. That garden salad was so delish we saved some and had it with fried eggs on our boat in the morning as well as some of the olive tapenade and a piece of fried eggplant. Great bar and wait staff. And, it was fun seeing kids out with their parents in the “wide open”; reminded us of normalcy. Thanks.
What a great way to spend a lovely evening. The food was really nice and everyone was so friendly. Thank you for creating a fun and safe environment.
Lovely outdoor dining in a beautiful setting.Lots of space between tables. Delicious food. Great owners and staff.
Great food. Great place.
I truly cannot think of anything to suggest or that needs improvement. We had an absolutely perfect evening in every way.
We had a beautiful summer night to enjoy the Brooklin Inn. The six of us were seated at picnic table in the garden. The food was fabulous. Fresh and interesting dishes for all! In this time of COVID, what a treat! We can't wait to go back.
Excellent as always!
Thanks so much to the folks at The Brooklin Inn for being creative during these challenging COVID times and enabling us to get out for a meal. Food, drink, social distancing were all perfect.
Never disappointed!! Always enjoy our time at the Brooklin Inn!
The inn is a special place, with an incredible chef and lovely room. Dining outdoors was well organized in the beautiful yard, and the cuisine and wines we had were unique and delicious. We have a few small suggestions: add a small chair or bench to room 4, and make the beds with the pillows away from the window so there is no risk of hitting your head on the dormers. For breakfast, we thought it would be available anytime after 8am, and didn't realize it would be hot so came down to the lobby around 9am and missed the hot eggs (which were still delicious as were the scones and fruit). Probably good to mention that it's important to pick breakfast up at 8am. Thanks for a special visit. And thanks for the brewed coffee makings in the room!
It was our first time eating at a restaurant since March. We very much appreciated the care and thought put into the processes, which put us at ease. We ordered most of the starters and a number of drinks, all of which were fantastic. My only suggestion is that you instruct the servers to let diners know that the kitchen closes at 8:00. Our reservation was at 7:00 and the server told us that we could order different courses whenever we were ready. When we put in our order fro entrees at 8:15, they told us the kitchen was closed. We truly enjoyed our first hour there but were disappointed to find that we couldn't continue with a leisurely dinner. It was still an exceptionally nice evening, but we will plan to comer earlier so that we can order at a leisurely pace while the kitchen is open. Thank you for a great first dinner out!!
The Zucchini fritters were wonderful!
They had run out of many of the wines on their list. For example, they only had two of the six offerings for bottles of red wine. With a limited selection to start with, they should ensure they are stocked well especially for weekends. If they prefer not to stock fully, allow for BYOB.
We've been very happy with the Brooklin Inn all summer--but what the heck happened to the oysters? They're the size of small cherrystones.
We felt the ordering, bar and paying system, where the customer went to a fixed station, was a good attempt to try to navigate the new challenges, but it had the opposite effect, we were forced to stand in a line of people for each process, unfortunately close to the diners who were seated close to the station, and blocked where the servers were trying to pass. Having only the staff walking around would still be preferable and reduce the most contact. The food was excellent and the setting lovely though.
Great food and drink served in a well spaced outdoor area.
