Opened in July of 2010, our guests dine to our waterside breathtaking views of the historic Coupeville Wharf and Mount Baker while enjoying fresh sustainable seafood and fresh northwest produce and beef. Customer Review: We happened upon this informally elegant bistro on an overnight trip to Whidbey Island last year and made a special trip back while hosting friends visiting Seattle. It's right on the water - Penn Cove - and the view can be seen from pretty much any table. The menu highlight is Penn Cove mussels. They serve a generous heap of them with white wine broth and nice country bread. Others at our table had cheeseburgers and fries, which they said were exceptional. Wine and beer offerings pleased everyone. And, very important, our server was terrific. Professional and helpful with lots of personality. Coupeville is small but charming, and the Front Street Grill is a great destination.
