We had a lovely evening. All the pies were hot, extremely tasty and excellent quality. Great to have proper home made gravy and as much as we wanted. Best puddings we have had for a long time as obviously not out of a packet! Beer good, and friendly efficient service. Would thoroughly recommend.

A wonderful evening with friends, in a relaxed environment with delicious food. What more could I ask for?!
Phil was chatty without being intrusive, the restaurant had a homely vibe and I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken, pancetta,brie & cranberry pie. Full of meat and flavour, and I enjoyed the creamy mash and lovely cheesy cauliflower cheese.
We shall definitely be returning to try some other flavour pies; I would like to try a steak pie, but only steak & kidney was available on our visit. Next time! Just a shame we didnt find this hidden gem sooner!

Delicious pies - amazing pastry, sublime flavour and packed full. Really good value with lovely sides to choose from. Great dessert menu with a wide variety of beers and other drinks. All in all a lovely family run business which was a delight to experience.

Always a nice experience at this restaurant which we’ve visited a number of times. The owner takes great care to advise customers on options for food and drink. The pies are excellent and served with mash and freshly cooked vegetables. Thoroughly recommend and will return soon.

A wonderful evening with excellent food, service and very friendly staff. The pies were the best we have ever eaten! We loved the fact that you are so enthusiastic about your pies and really cared about our opinions.
I have only scored 8 for the ambience because we were the only ones in the room, it would have been nicer if there had been some other diners in our area.
We will definitely be coming back and are looking forward to eating the 9 pies we bought to take home!

Our 3rd time here for breakfast. We weren’t local and had meaning to come for awhile now. Food was delicious, tasty and hot! We bought pies to take home. Extremely tasty and full of meat. Very good value and different sizes can be made to order. Lovely friendly staff. Definitely down for many more return visits!!

Really friendly service. Amazing pies and generous vegetables.
Our only suggestion would be to add some curtains to dampen the sound a bit.
But we will be going back, fantastic to have a restaurant like this in the village.

Great food ,we had a beautifully cooked breakfast ,a very nice cup of coffee included in the price and the service was perfect.Certainly no improvement is needed .
We would suggest that everyone should pop to Twyford to try this lovely Rural Pie Co. and their pies are pretty good too

Loved the PIE and the veg were cooked perfectly for me. The selection of beers from the Marlow brewery were great too. We will definitely go again.
Only suggestion is they should mention on their website that parking is free for 2 hours in the Waitrose carpark.

Very nice freshly cooked breakfast. Toast was wasn’t toasted enough and one of us clearly asked for bread, not toast but that was quickly rectified. Staff were pleasant but seemed a little unsure of themselves and we weren’t altogether sure who had responsibility for our table. On the whole it was a good experience and we shall return. Thank you

We enjoyed our meal and it was good value. There was a delay in taking the dessert/coffee orders, with our two young grandsons getting a bit impatient.
