Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel my booking?: Yes. We understand that not everything goes according to plan. Late cancellations however will be subject to a charge per person but this can be avoided by letting us know 4 hours in advance
Are there Vegan options?: Yes! of course! At the Bun & Barrel we want to make sure all diners get a proper night out
What about gluten free?: we have you covered! We have gluten free patties, buns and beer. we even have a separate fryer for the chips!
I was over charged or double charged.: Please get in touch right away on [email protected] or DM via our social media channels and we will resolve this for you immediately
Do you do take away or delivery?: Not right this minute but we are currently working on rolling it out.
Is there Disabled access?: Yes indeed there is. Our main entrance is all accessible and our front bar is all on that same level including the accessible toilet.

The brisket burger was extremely tasty. very minor point of feedback - i think both members of the party would've liked just a little more brisket; notwithstanding, the quality of everything we had was very high. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back.

The service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. I took a chance coming to this restaurant because I have a gluten sensitivity. Online the menu doesn't show a gluten free option. Fortunately there were plenty of gluten free dishes.

Another great meal, we had an extra friend join us which was not an issue and staff just added an additional table to accommodate, food and service was great, friendly staff, the only downside is there is no outdoor space but that is due to the location.

Overall we really enjoyed the meal, the restaurant is well decorated and welcoming. Staff were great and made us feel welcome. The burgers were great, and a good selection of drinks. The reason I knocked the value score down was, the don fries, I couldn’t help feeling a bit ripped off. The normal fries were £3, the don fries were £8, but it was just the normal fries, same size, with a thin layer of pork ragu and some grated cheese, didn’t feel like it was worth a £5 premium. Overall though, loved our visit and will be back.

Just wished we had pre ordered our red wine so it wasn't freezing cold!! Loved atmosphere and music. Food was really good and very tasty. Although there was a new daily burger available feel perhaps the addition of a good salad dish might be nice. Definitely go back and recommend to friends. Friendly efficient staff.

Great service and soundtrack. Best ice cream. Burgers up there in Birmingham's best, doesn't quite pip Meat Shack for us. Fries could definitely be better, the thin doesn't seem to hold toppings well, and the naked fries were just meh.

We were greeted by the staff, which was nice and friendly. We were seated down at our table of choice, and the waitress provided us with the menu and drinks option. We ordered three burgers B&B, Soft Shell Crab and Chicken, sides of fries and soft shell crab. The food arrived and looked amazing, but after taking a bite we realised all burgers are being overpowered by the different sauces already on the burgers, which lost the flavour of the main ingredient being the beef, crab and chicken (too much sauce). We ate all the dishes as we were extremely hungry, but particularly disappointed by the soft shell crab, as it was very greasy, the batter got soaked up in warm oil. (next time the crab should be lightly coated in flour and deep fried). Only a suggestion. This is by no means of any criticism, but a chance to make improvements. Less sauce is more....
