We love the carvery at the island pool. We eat there every week. So many fresh vegetables and choice of potatoes. The gravy is great and brings the whole meal together. We like the new sausage stew addition very much. All the staff are friendly and feels like a local pub where people know us.

Very enjoyable evening.
Enjoyed the lovely ceiling lighting but then the central light fitting was turned on and for me it spoiled the ambience as it was too bright for my eyes.

Our favourite Carvery is The Island Pool. Always the meat and vegables are perfectly cooked, kept warm with a great variety of vegetables and potato dishes to choose from. We love that they also have a wide menu of other meals too, and the sweets are second to none, which plenty to choose from. I have given 10 as the value for everything because they deserve it. We have just celebrated my hubbie's birthday with a lovely evening out in The Island Pool. Can highly recommend it.
