We booked a table for 5 for a business lunch on Thursday 18th January 24. The service was super friendly, quick and welcoming, with great menu and wines knowledge. The food was exceptional! All fresh ingrediants, a great menu variety and lovely specials - we would highly recommend to anyone in Bristol and will be returning soon for sure!

Excellent Italian cuisine, from the starters to the the delicious desserts, like pistacchio tiramisù., This place is a must for Italians who love their food and those who want to eat proper Italian, without compromises. The Italian wiines selection is perfect, as Italians love matching a glass with their food. This is an amazing alternative to pizza, since it is regional based cuisine. But it is possible to find hidden gems that can delight the most demanding customers. I went with my family and from the youngest to the oldest one, they were all completely happy with this choice. Highly recommend. We will definitely go back again.

We chose this restaurant for our date night and was pleasantly surprised by the evening. The food was superb as was the service. The only slight downside was the initial impression of the place with aging decor and tables a little cramped. When we arrived there was a particularly rowdy table which made it difficult to have a conversation. It did feel a little like going into someones house for a meal. But this was only a minor point and once the other table left it felt cosy and intimate, only slightly marred by the steady footfall of people passing by to access the toilet in the corner of the room.
Overall however a really nice night and would certainly come again and hope for better weather and dine alfresco in the courtyard.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends. Originally we were sat outside in the cute, courtyard with fairy lights under cover. As the forecast was bad, the team had taken the time to lay a table for us inside, so we could move in when we wanted. Inside was just as charming and quirky, it worked even better having a round table for the 6 of us.
Food was DELICIOUS, great value for money and pasta portions were actually a good size. The team who served us were very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be going again!

Absolutely amazing food and great service, we had a lovely time. Ate the duck ragu (special), burratta, focaccia, tomato carpaccio and arancini, all delicious, particularly the burratta and arancini! We had the lacrima di morro di alba wine and it was so nice. And for pudding we had the tiramisu, best we've ever had. Great service and we will be back for more!

Very pleased with this meal for eight people - such kind and attentive staff, delightful ambience and delicious food: fresh and tasty calamari, excellent tiramisu, and hearty pasta, all consumed in really comfortable seating on what was indeed a fine but not too warm evening. Unfortunately my spaghetti vongole was really really dry/ al dente. They were more like egg noodles as opposed to spaghetti. The portion size was also very small considering the price. We mentioned this to the manager, since he asked how things were and he didn't really care and just smirked. There was a lovely waitress who partly served us and was friend and knowledgeable. Overall the outside seating was nice but based on the food, I won't be rushing back here.

We had a wonderful lunch at La Panza on Tuesday. The service was superb, as were the choice of dishes. But, the best thing about eating al fresco at La Panza is the relaxed ambiance - I felt like I was in Italy on holiday.

Really nice place to have a fancy dinner. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was lovely to us. However, it personally truly is for special ocassions, as we found it a bit on the expensive side. I understand that some of the ingredients are imported but it just didn't justify the price for us. Everything was tasty and amazing though!

The food was great and good price for lunch meal. The place could do with a better clean and vacumn around the dining areas and the toilet had no paper hand towels or soap in dispenser. Just some attention to cleanliness would improve my ratings as I can fault the food and quirkiness

The food at La Panza was amazing. We had 4 different pasta dishes and each one was delicious. I had the Gnocchi with duck ragu, I highly recommend this. But there were equally good vegetarian options. The focaccia was really tasty served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They had a wide range of cocktails on offer and really good house wine. It's a quirky building with tables upstairs and outside on the heated patio. There was a small number of staff so service was a bit slower at times. However, the food is delicious. It was recommended to us by Italian friends who also love the place.

Lovely authentic food and very good service! Our only suggestion would be to install a new toilet door. We were sat at the table nearest the toilet. We understand it is an old building and not possible to move the toilet further away from the tables, but if the toilet door closed shut, I think that would be more pleasant for customers at that table as well as those using the toilet.
