Fantastic Sunday lunch including a well catered for Gluten free option served by friendly and helpful staff..the ambience is only marked slightly down because the room was draughty and cold. However, it is winter so not a deal breaker.

Great, enthuiastic Team - just could do with making sure restaurant tables are attended too a bit more. A few times we had to find someone to order another drink and to get the bill. Each time the Team were sat in the bar. Other than that, all fab.

To start with we were the only guests with the staff providing a warm, friendly welcome. However, although quiet at that time they were excellent at giving us time to look at the menu, order drinks etc. in our own time & did not rush/crowd us at all. The food was excellent (especially the gravy!) and the only slight thing (& this is extremely petty! Lol!) is my roast potatoes were slightly overdone. My partner & myself have now been here numerous times (this was our first Sunday though) & the service/food has always been excellent. Please strive to keep this up as we will continue to visit & thank you!

Absolutely delicious food which everyone enjoyed. The meats were especially good, I had the chicken which was perfectly tender and moist. We were driving so appreciated the good alcohol free options. Only minor quibbles are we were left waiting a long time to settle the bill until we went to the bar, and the pigs in blankets were quite small so a second included with the roast would have been nice, but these are very nitpicky and overall it was a great experience!

Lovely Sunday lunch, one of the best we have had. Tasty, hot and plenty of it. Beautifully cooked. Service could have been better, we were not asked if we wanted any sauces with our lunch (mustard etc..), no salt and pepper on the table. No one came to see if we wanted dessert, after a wait we had to ask. We have not been put off by this and as the food was so good we will eat here again in the very near
future.

Roast beef was fatty. They did replace it but very chewy and red. They gave us a doggy bag to take home for our dogs!
They did apologies profusely and gave us a side and coffee on the house. Couldn’t fault their service.
