Loved the food, and service was excellent, greeted on arrival, I think that using the upstairs area in the old mill would be a bonus for ambience but the bar staff were always checking if we needed any more drinks which was a nice experience. It works well. Overall feedback was positive kids loved the burgers too, definitely will go back.

Fantastic food and a great addition to portishead food scene. Will be back to try a steak. The burger wings and ribs were incredible and the sauce on the ribs and wings was amazing and there wasn't too much of it. The only criticism was the sausage in the hot dog I would have preferred a thicker sausage and would pay extra for that option. The fries were amazing too

This was our first time visiting the Saucy Griller, our host on arrival said we were in for a treat and he was not wrong. Food came out promptly, warm and was nicely presented. Food was excellent and was good value. As a group of four (2 adults, 2 kids), we went cheap and arrived during happy hour (burger and chips for £10 between 5-6pm) but would have been happy to pay full price in future as it was so good. As a new startup we understand keeping the menu simple but look forward to more choices as the business grows. Thanks for an enjoyable evening meal and urge all portishooders to give the saucy griller a go.
