Situated under the leafy edge of the Cotswold Way, The Swan Hotel is a converted 17th century coaching inn that seamlessly blends modern comforts with traditional touches to create a unique hotel experience. Situated in the heart of Wotton-under-Edge, The Swan offers fifteen beautiful recently refurbished en-suite guest rooms, a light and airy restaurant offering freshly cooked food, and cosy bar and snug that retain a local feel. We’re a dog friendly hotel, and while the Cotswolds makes the perfect playground for your four-legged friends. As a member of CAMRA and with the Cask Marque Approval, we are proud to offer an extensive range of real ales from local breweries. We have a newsagents within the hotel where our guests can purchase their daily papers as well as magazines from our excellent team of friendly staff.

Fantastic Sunday meal (not “just” roasts) in terms of portion size, but also quality.
We had an infant and child in the part of 6 and the staff couldn’t have done more to accommodate them from suitable crockery to cutlery and also tolerated the infants insistence to explore the restaurant with his recently acquired mobility!!
Fantastic, would highly recommend and we’ll be back!

Lovely stay at the Swan Hotel. We had Dinner and breakfast there and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room etc.. The staff were super friendly too. Will defiantly stay there again or pop in for lunch if we are that area again.

The only thing I’d change is having the meat served on the plate not the dish bc the chicken and beef were in the same roasting tin & one of our party can’t eat red meat and it was on top of the chicken

The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are good. Everyone is very friendly. Only negative is the breakfast buffet, the hot cooked to order choices are good but the buffet disappointing. No fresh pastries, some ham or cheese would be a good idea.
