Tubby's Corner serves the best roast dinner in Bristol (and I've been almost everywhere) - so tasty and amazing portion size. Gravy was excellent too. The plantain was a really quirky addition to have on a roast and I loved it! We went for all the meats and they were all on point! I'll be having the belly next time though as that was my favorite! Cauliflower cheese could have had more cheese sauce, but then again cauliflower cheese could always have more cheese :P Was still lush. Service was really great although confusing you take payment at the beginning, you're definitely missing out on tips that way as people hardly carry cash these days. The Full Moon should stock some better red wine if they are branching out to fancier food, as this was the only thing lacking in my opinion.

I love that you have a vegan option for both roast and dessert. However the ginger cake was hard and dry so I couldn't eat it (?stale or just not great recipe). And it would be lovely if you could source some vegan Yorkie. That would raise the game tenfold. The staff were fantastic, courteous, efficient and friendly. It's a lovely venue and we will come again!
