I had a fantastic meal at The Farmhouse on a Thursday evening with my son. I highly recommend the lasagne—it was absolutely delicious—and my son loved the beef bourguignon pie.
The food was excellent, the house red wine was spot on, and the service really stood out. The team were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely well looked after throughout the evening.
We’ll definitely be back!

Right through from our arrival we were made to feel so welcome and found the food, waiting staff and atmosphere second to none and at a very reasonable cost. A lovely evening in a friendly setting attended to by attentive warm and welcoming staff. Food excellent . I would have given a 10 for our delicious and hot well cooked meals but unfortunately two of the covers had their potato choices confused causing us to rectify the error at the table. We were able to sit at our usual table, and advised how to book to be sure to sit there in the future. Service is, as always, a cut above, well looked after, smart and efficient service. Excellent. We usually have light bites, good choices, pleasing, as always. All in all, a very pleasant experience - the Old Farmhouse doesn’t disappoint.

As always good service, lovely food, cosy, non intrusive ambience. Not rushed to finish the meal. There was a slightly troublesome draught but I swapped seats which sorted it. It's always a pleasant outing at The Farmhouse. I am repeating it for my birthday next Monday. Thank you Joy Seymour.
