The Old Farmhouse is our local 'go to' Pub/Restaurant, the food has always been good value, tasty and well presented. There are options for lunchtime light bites, as well as larger plates on the main Menu.
We have also found the staff to be both helpful & polite.
In terms of improvement the only thing that springs to mind is reintroducing the red onion caramelised onion marmalade to the liver & bacon dish even if it costs a little more please.

We hadn't been to the Old Farmhouse for over a year, purely because of convenience and feeling ripped off by prices vs quality in general. What a really pleasant surprise it was. The best meal we've had anywhere in Nailsea for an awful long time. Prices were reasonable, the service was excellent and the meal was exceptional. Very high quality, no scrimping on the portion sizes and very fresh and tasty. We really felt it was value for money and will be regular customers from now on.

For a better experience next time, it would be helpful if waiting staff provided an estimated time for non-carvery dishes, so guests who ordered the carvery know when to collect their food, allowing everyone to eat together. I understand it can be difficult to estimate, but just a suggestion.

Very helpful staff as we had booked for a group who’s number changed a couple of times. Our booking was amended without a problem and we also changed the time. Still no problem. Food was excellent. When we arrived the waiting staff were great but after getting our food that’s the last we saw of them.
The table next to us walked out with dessert menus on the table but just paid & left. So we got their menus & one of our table went to the bar & asked if we could order. Extra drinks seemed hard work. We went to pay our bill but the service once main meal is served goes down hill.
