When we arrived it was clear that they hadn't seen our booking. We waited approximately 5 minutes and we were accommodated at a table in the 'conservatory' area which was lovely but a little chilly. There was a muddle over our initial drinks order which was quickly rectified. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious, we will definately go back but will book a table by making a phonecall.

Felt staff were abrupt. It was quiet when we arrived at 7pm but we were right next to the only other occupied table which was not ideal as they were quite noisy. Later some larger parties came in and they were all placed near us rather than spacing them out a little. Again it meant it was difficult to hear & have a conversation. Food was very good but that is only part of the reason for eating out. Been before but don't think I would now return or recommend.

Staff didn’t seem that keen on us (party of four men and a woman) and sadly didn’t seem to feel the need to make us particularly welcome, which is strange when you’re handing over fifty quid a head each. A shame, because the food, as ever, was mostly excellent.
