Just the best dinner we have had in quite a while. The strip steak was done perfectly. Our waitress was very helpful, attentive and personable. Loved the whole experience and we will return for Fat Tuesday as we do every year! We also enjoyed the music.

Every aspect of our dining experience was wonderful, as usual! Connor was an amazing server. He was attentive to our needs, offered suggestions on menu and did a super job of describing the menu items! He did such a great job, it was difficult to choose among them! We came for restaurant week, but ended up ordering from the main menu. Basically the same price. Food was delicious, service was wonderful. The oerson we brought cant wait to come back. I cannot find anything that needs improvement, except perhaps more comfortable chairs. Thank you for a wonderful experience .

We came across Dick & Jenny's last year while camping on Grand Island. Our dinner last year was so fantastic that I booked a reservation for our recent overnight stay on the island. Upon walking in, it felt like home! The dining room was very cozy! It had some historical pieces and yet modern comforts. Jenny greeted us with a big smile! As our table of 7 was reviewing the menu, i just kept on hearing "oh, oh, oh". Many of us settled on the family style menu for the night in order to try different options and that did not fail! The food triggered so many happy faces, we still talk about it back here in Chicago. There was not one thing we were disappointed about. The lemon chardonnay butter was aww so good on many dishes! I definitely felt like I was back in New Orleans! The history Jenny told us her and Dick went through was unbelievable, but it showed perseverance and their love of food showed it!

Dick and Jenny's NEVER disappoints. Whether it's picking up amazing BBQ rib dinner's to go (brought right out to the car) or awesome dine in experiences trying new things....like the grilled romaine salad the other night that was to die for....this place is the best. We went while celebrating mardi-Gras! The bank was amazing!! The food was amazing- our server Santina was really great! She was on top of it the whole time! The only complaint was the dinners are a bit pricey as are the drinks. Downtown bar prices for sure. I didn’t expect that. Definitely a place to go for a special occasion. Not your weekly dinner outing.

This is my favorite restaurant. Awesome food, great people, top notch service. We don't get there as often as we would like but, for a special occasion, there is NEVER any discussion. It's Dick and Jenny's!
