We've been going to Lake Morey for about 20 years but hadn't been back in a few. The new decor and rugs looked great. It was wonderful to be back! I miss the hot tub by the pool, but am aware there always seemed to be issues with it even before it was taken out. I think it would be nice if there were one, though, a reliable one. We missed the dessert buffet, but I understand ordering off the menu is more cost-effective and the desserts we did have were delicious. Glad to see there's still the breakfast buffet!

Loved the place and that things like canoes, corn hole, billiards etc included. Views were beautiful except our room was right by the big tree (which I don't want cut down). Food was good. Everything was slightly pricey. The only real knock was food service. (Service in lobby was fine) Our evening server didn't seem to know the dishes well and was a little slow (although she seemed to be working hard, maybe had too many tables?). For the breakfast brunch- we stood for a few minutes while the servers were chatting with each other until someone else told them to go seat us. Slow to pick up check, refill water. Also they were not changing out tablecloths between guests. We went to sit at one table and there was a hair on the tablecloth. Then the table we choose, we were part way through and noticed a bunch of spilled salt on the cloth. Nothing terrible, but still. The club house grill was fine. Not complaining, just making you aware. Oh one suggestion- some resorts put water and cups in the lobby area (unless you had it and I missed it?). Room was really nice, bed comfy. And thank you for having a clock in the room. So many places don't do that anymore!

A lovely place on a picturesque lake. Good food at a very reasonable price. Friendly and accommodating wait staff and bartender (Brian-outstanding). Everyone who was dining or having a drink appeared pleased and quite satisfied, a true sign of a very good place.

I loved everything at the Lake Morey Resort! Staff was super helpful and friendly. It was clean and updated and just so relaxing. My one minor suggestion is to update the AC unit in your handicap accessible room (I was in 147). The cool air blows right up the curtains and turns off and on a ton, so I had to keep my outer curtain open to sleep and not be interrupted by it kicking on and off. The room stayed consistently cool that way too. I noticed the regular rooms had thermostat units…not sure that could help? Otherwise the ADA set up was flawless and so appreciated! Loved our stay, thanks so much!

We were a group of golf ladies who came for a couple days and had a wonderful time!! The highlight was the food - absolutely delicious and more than we could ask for! The rooms were nicely updated, the hallways and hall carpeting could use some attention, but we had so much fun it wasn't an issue. We got in two rounds of golf on an interesting course with some challenging holes. Outside, the scenery was just amazing - we had a lakefront room which was worth the extra few bucks to wake up to that great view. All of the staff were wonderful and very attentive!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The waitresses and front desk folks were wonderful. The golf course was in great shape. We did your meal/golf package and were disappointed that the cart fee was not included and the 3 course meal on Saturday turned out to be a buffet. Otherwise we were very pleased with the experience.

For almost $200 a night the rooms are very outdated and dark and the bed and pillows were horrible! It was also concerning that the outlet in the bathroom was not GFI being next to the sink!

The menu has a pretty fair assortment. As with everything else right now the prices are high. A lot of items in the menu have added sugars and sauces that might conflict with various diets. Sometimes just plain meat and vegetables is a more desirable option. They don’t have daily specials- same menu all the time. If you stay more than two nights it Might get old! Same for breakfast buffet. Really beautiful pastry and carb options if that is your thing. Lots of pancake French toast sweet bread food. Nice sugary yogurt from a local creamery. But the protein selection is the same every day. Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon and sausage. Fresh!!!! Very fresh ingredients! The coffee is also the same and dependable every day but of the very light and weak variety. Nice cocktails and beer and wine selection!!!! Typical alcohol pricing. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake from all dining options Beautiful outdoor seating. Stunning gardens and flowers and planters at the outdoor dining spots. Beauty is all around! Staff is very helpful
