Great restaurant. We forgot its name and wanted to return because our first experience was so great….end up booking and realizing that Salt Bistro is the restaurant we wanted to go to. Everything was great…Kerri’s super attentive service, the the chef’s masterpieces, including lobster raviolis. 10+

My guest thought the food was surperb. I had gotten the filet tips and the sauce was too heavy for me and the meat was also cooked to long for me. I will try a lighter dish the next time I visit. Thank you!

Our first time dining at Salt Bistro. Wonderful experience. Food was excellent. We were especially impressed with the staff, professional and knowledgeable. Nightly specials are offered along with desserts that are scrumptious. We will be returning to enjoy some of the other mouth watering entrees on the menu.

The food and service were very good. This was my first time in. I was a little disappointed with the inside of the restaurant. It felt like the type of restaurant you are going for did not fit the space… a lot of work was done to the outside of the building but it looks like nothing has been changed in decades inside.

2nd dinning experience...both very good. A bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food and drink was excellent, and the food cooked just right. Service was very good. The entree took longer than expected, probably our own fault for not ordering promptly. Great ambience out on the porch.

Overall we had a lovely dinner. The cocktails were great (cucumber martini….well chilled and with fresh lime…yummy. The food was great our main course came out a bit too soon ( still finishing cocktails and salad ) Our server was lovely and did well tolerating a toddler ( probably not the best choice restaurant for one). We will be back! It’s a very nice addition to St J.

Sats aims for a high quality and varied dinner menu. I have had dined there several times. The room is pleasant and friendly; the service excellent and relaxed. This meal gets mixed reviews! The meatball appetizer was quite tasty (Marsala); the beet salade excellent. Raviolis very good; penne bolognese; good. Ribs disappointed (overcooked, dry).

I waitress Jeanne was fantastic. But she was working way too many stations. Outside on the porch, Colin, tables inside. Bartender seemed capable of doing Colin. Short staffed but that’s the story of everybody right now. The food was fantastic.

The food was very good. I got the Saltimbistro Burger, which was very good. The demi-glace really made the dish. My companion got the linguini with baby little necks, and she was blown away by how many clams were in her dish. We both finished every bite, so it must all have been good. I also had a glass of Storypoint cabernet, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So that was the good. The not-so-good was the service. It was quite slow. Fortunately, we were in no rush, but it took a while for anyone to come to our table after we were seated. And it took a while for our food to come out once we ordered. We ate outside, on the deck. The deck itself was nice, but the street is no great shakes.

The food was excellent though we did feel a bit rushed. No dessert or coffee was offered which may be due to Covid restrictions but it still felt odd not to be offered the option. There was live music but it was quite loud so that actually detracted a bit from the experience. We would return on a night when music is not offered and ask ahead about restrictions.

It was raining so everyone was seated inside. Probably, it was too packed. Tables were definitely less than 6' edge to edge. Plus they had a 3 piece band doing these Irish jigs or Pirate shantys or something. With the tiny flute. Way too loud, way too close, way too the same. But, they only played a couple of more songs and they said good night. So that worked out well. Food was very good. Service was very good. Drinks were very good.

Reservation seemed unnecessarily inflexible. Was a little confusing when asked how long we would use the table since much of that I depends on the speed of the service. Food was good, but prices were a little high. The main problem was the air conditioning was inadequate and we were sweating at the table because it was so hot. The heat and some flies made the meal uncomfortable.

My husband ordered a glass of wine, a Montepulciano. They said they were out of it so he had to choose another wine. Then he asked for a salad, but the restaurant was out of any kind of lettuce and salads in general!! Though they made up for that by giving us some free bread, it’s uncanny for a restaurant not to have salad!! That experience made our meal a lot less pleasant!
