Service at The Trop is consistently very good. The food was good too, we had the special which was steak sandwiches and enjoyed it. We found the house white to be different than a week or two ago and a little sweet but hey, we had our share anyway! The Trop continues to be a favourite.

The speakers in the back were just a touch too loud, had to shout sometimes to have a conversation. That was in between sets. Otherwise service was fantastic. I loved how everyone pitched in for each other.

Fantastic wings. Very tasty California Chicken sandwich. Chicken breast was a good size and cooked perfectly. I suggest having a couple of umbrellas on the patio. The sun can be intense. By the way, I was there a week later for ‘Wing Night’. Most excellent!

Don’t know why it’s taken us so long to re-discover this great neighbourhood bar! The food is really great and they have great weeknight specials that provide great value. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and felt safe as the tables on the patio are well distanced.

Everything was really great except the food. The large order of nachos was fairly small compared with most places, and the cheese was very skimpy and not even totally melted. The wing flavor that we had wasn't good either, the wings just tasted acidic. I think the were the chili lime flavor? We didn't complain or anything and we still had a great experience. But, even if you go somewhere like Mucho Burrito take out, their nachos blow yours out of the water, and it really wouldn't take much to improve that. But, who knows, maybe we are in the minority of people and everyone else loves them. Still grateful for the overall experience.

It was my 1st time at Trop... I went to watch the comedy hour and was hoping that your venue would attract a higher caliber of comedian... Scotty was the only one worth watching he was professional and very funny... If at all possible perhaps you should screen your comedians Material before they head up on stage... Other than that the service was great the food was great and I quite enjoyed the evening!

Food was good, really liked the local Trop Kick Lager and McAdam cider. Disappointed with the lettuce wrap. Not sure why a cook/chef would slice up the lettuce instead of giving the whole leafs. The filling of the lettuce wrap was good, maybe could have had more sauce in it.
