All absolutely perfect. Only negative comment is that the venue is not big enough for the live entertainment. The lady singing was very good, but it was difficult to have a conversation whilst she was singing. Will definitely be back, the best place to eat out in Stamford!

Really enjoyable meal in a lovely space. Great quality and presentation. We did say we didn’t think the fried baby squid tasted of much (bit over cooked) and this was taken off our bill - much appreciated this but would’ve happily paid.

The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. It is totally worth waiting for and I hope this never changes or they try to cut corners with it. It is also worth the money. My only tiny gripe would be a lack of room between some tables but it is comfortable. We keep going back!

We had a fabulous visit and the food was amazing. I also enjoyed my little birthday treat at the end ( the desert not so much the hot Saki ;). I just find the restaurant a little noisy /clattery and maybe some softness in the interior would help absorb the sounds and make it easier for the waiting staff to hear you too. Some of the best sushi I have ever had! A great addition to Stamford and relatively good value for how great the food was. Lovely vibe for a Saturday night downstairs. Only feedback that wasn’t positive is that servers kept bringing other peoples food to our table, teething problems and hardly an issue!! Perhaps table numbers would help??

Food was excellent as always and I always enjoy coming to your restaurant. Small minor things that could be improved, music was a tad too loud, could be turned down a bit so it’s easier to enjoy a conversation with my partner, service was good and very quick although would have been nice to have all of our meal elements (combo and 2 sides) served together rather than separately which meant we had eaten our sides before our combo turned up. As I said minor things and enjoyed my meal very much, always a joy to have a meal here.

It was our first time and boy were we impressed. Being ex-Londoners we have had our share of great sushi, and this is impressive too. The range was vast, meaning we will be back to try the ones we didn't order. And also the ramen and eel when the weather gets colder.

Absolutely wonderful lunch at this restaurant on Saturday - the food is amazing, we love it. Didn’t catch her name, but the Ukrainian server was absolutely lovely. So polite and friendly, we sat and chatted with her before we left. She’s a credit to the restaurant.

I absolutely loved the salmon sashimi bowl I had but the pork belly was a bit disappointing.

Very enjoyable experience, good staff, great food, beautiful setting. Bit noisy inside. I got the impression some of the waitstaff are not familiar with Japanese cuisine, as perhaps I am, but knowledge will come from experience.

The food was really good, however there could be a bit more explanation on the menu as to what each category is and how much to order. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Me and my partner love sushi and definitely recommend as it is amazing, however this time I had to fight with flies for my food.. that was not so nice, but food and customer service was great!

Service and food amazing.
Was slightly surprised that the kitchen shut at 8 and we were being hurried and told the restaurant was closing at 9. Tables stacked and lights being switched off around us which somewhat makes the evening less enjoyable when you’re being rushed.

The whole dining experience was very good, food delicious. From the exterior I probably would have dismissed the venue as I thought design rather odd, however, we have been back as food, service very good. Only suggestion is the menu has a very big selection so a bit daunting if it is 1st/2nd time although staff are very friendly & helpful.

The food was lovely and the service was good, although it was a bit slow after our main course- we had to ask to see the dessert menu as it had been a while . A bit disappointed to find that service charge had already been added into the bill. I like to decide myself if a tip is warranted and it is annoying to know that decision is taken away.
