Lovely meal with fast service, though did have to follow up on one part of our order. We were seated outdoors but with a heater it made for a pleasant experience. A second heater may have been useful but we managed.A good spot to come back to for a delicious Italian meal.

It was very noisy and difficult to hold a conversation given the venue was too busy.
One of my guests pizza was also forgotten about and 3 times we asked as to its whereabouts ….. apologies were given to the fact that they were too busy and merely a mix up in the kitchen … his pizza cost was removed from the bill as a result of complaining

I was looking forward to my meal as had previously good experiences.
I couldn't get the meals I wanted so went for the steak. It looked great but the steak was such poor quality and overcooked that I could only eat half of it. I asked for medium rare and got very well done. We were the first customers to order our meals.
When I told the cashier about my steak she was interested but then still charged me the full price. Then she realised she hadn't charged Mr for a glass of ginger ale . Instead of letting it go she charged me for that too.
We had a lovely evening but the steak was terrible and I shouldn't have been charged full price.
I didn't send it back because I was hungry as I hadn't eaten all day and had already waited an hour for it.

The food was really wonderful, we were pretty let down by the initial service - when we arrived no one greeted us, we stood waiting for 10 minutes into our booking time while staff looked at us, we asked for help and were asked to wait there a moment. Another few minutes later we noticed we were the only large group not seated so went and sat at the table that had the right amount of chairs.
Drinks were only taken for half the table, we had to ask for drinks to be ordered for the other half 5 mins after the first half received their drinks and then we had to continually ask for water to be topped up or for new drinks.
Again the food was wonderful, but the service was quite a let down but we are empathetic that things could have been happening to reduce the quality of service.

Booked table for two at 8pm, arrived and was told that our table was not ready. Offered us to sit at the "Bar" but we were seated on the cornermost seats of the bar infront of cutlery and other utensils... were not given a drink menu or anything, bartender ignored us. After 10 minutes we asked if our table was ready, seemed like they forgot about us. Waiter apologised and said its still not ready, then offered us a drink menu. They also offered us a seat outside and we took it as they could not guarantee how long it would take for our booked table to become available. Once seated outside and given menu it was hard to find someone to take our orders. Had to wave down waiter, seemed like everyone was in a rush and ignored us. Food and drinks were great. Just this initial service was not so great.

We always seem to be given the worst table in the restaurant and this time was no surprise - we were given a table in the walk way so servers would walk past every few seconds. You add this to the fact the place was insanely noisy, which makes it impossible to have a nice time. Our garlic pizza was burnt and we could actually smell it before it made it to the table. I’m pretty sure the lasagna was microwaved too. One other thing, the tables are way too small, we saw groups of four struggle to have food and drinks on their table. We have had subpar experiences at So Litas before but this was the last straw, it was a terrible experience.

We had a staff end of year lunch. The food was wonderful and plenty of it. Cathy and the staff were really good. We ate outside which was nice and the weather was perfect for it still maybe a little too casual for what I was going for but that's on me not the restaurant. For a quick lunch outside is great. The inside has a lovely atmosphere, I would call it 'smart casual' and better set for smaller gatherings.

The food was amazing!! We booked for a late table, but had to wait until we were able to get our spot. It wasn’t too long. We weren’t rushed, the staff gave us time to review the menu and we eventually caught their eye. Food and wine are very reasonably priced. The pesto and Parmesan pizza bread was amazing!! As a group it was disappointing not to be able to split the bill. We intended to just divide the bill, not check through each item. I can’t understand why something so simple isn’t an option.

it is a very noisy restaurant. The wait staff are very busy, running around all the time. The pasta was outstanding, however the pizzas were lacklustre. The Margherita was lacking in substance while the potato pizza with halloumi had no flavour at all. It was a disappointing experience and we will likely not return.

Had an early pre theatre dinner. Pretty easy atmosphere, quick service and yummy large sized pasta dishes (enough to take home) fair pricing. Staff appeared to be overwhelmed at times with many people arriving without a reservation. As it was very cold and bit wet outside dining was not available. Overall good experience.

Will definitely be coming back again and again.
We had booke a table for 7pm, and our show at Canberra Theatre dtarted at 8pm. We walked into the restaurant nervous because it was busy (normally a great sign) but time was tight. We enjoyed 2 courses, of very high quality food, and arrived at the theatre by 7.45pm. They cater incredibly well for coeliacs and, again, the food was divine. Service was amazing and was a lively, ambient atmosphere. Cannot rate highly enough!

Excellent service and great food. Food came very quickly which is great for our young children. Staff were friendly, nice professional personalities and understanding of our kids, slightly energetic behaviour late in the afternoon. We will definitely go again.

Unfortunately our order was mixed up twice.
There was no structure to who was waiting which tables so we were asked the same thing by multiple people.
The dessert took so long that we had to cancel it.
The food itself was nice, but the overall experience was not.

We were 30 mins early to our reservation and ask to be sitted early, but was told that our table were not ready as the other party has not finished. We were ask to wait which was fine but there was plenty of vacant tables for two which they could easily gave to us. While the walk in guesses was shown straight to the vacant table. We question another waiter and he quickly offer us a table immediately, kudus to him. Maybe for next time the waiting staff should be a bit more flexible and be less restricted. Over all the food and venue were good.

As always at Solita pizza is great, thin crispy base with good toppings. Service was also friendly and helpful, although it's worth noting for staff that the person who asks for the bill should be given the bill, not the other person at the table. Cheers

Food and service excellent. Tables just a little too close together when someone with a very loud voice is at the next table. (only a minor irritation and there is not much one can do about that) But otherwise a fabulous experience. Best restaurant we visited in Canberra and best food we have eaten anywhere for a long time.

I was not happy that there were no vegetarian dishes in the 'mains' section.
I ordered eggplant parmigiana, which was very small and, in my view, overpriced. Maybe you could have a larger size eggplant parmigiana or a vegetarian lasagne in the 'mains' section.

We had such an amazing time for dinner. The staff were so lovely, helpful and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money and portion sizes - it was my 6th time here and my partners 1st and we were equally impressed!!! Yum!!
