It was my first time to the restaurant. It was fairly buzzing. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food came out fairly quickly allowing a reasonable time to eat and vacate for the next sitting. I shall return and will recommend SoLita to others.

I have dined at SoLita many many times and also used for conference dinners.
Unfortunately on my last visit I ordered the roasted veggies ( as I have done so many times before being vegetarian) and was shocked at the portion size.
Normally it is delivered on a dinner plate and is full of wonderful veggies, last week it appeared on a side plate with little or no veggies to be seen. I can understand if the chef wishes to change the menu but if you are provided 50% of the portion then you should reduce the price by 50 %. I note food prices are going up and restaurants may cut back on portion sizes slighty - but not by HALF

The meals were tasty and well priced.
The junior wait staff did not know what they were doing. Fortunately a more experienced staff member was present otherwise the experience would have suffered significantly. eg Scraping plates on the table in front of patrons still eating and delivering meals to the table from the wrong side etc etc. basic stuff that should already be well known by any restaurant staff.

Every time the door opens the cold wind comes through and freezes anyone sitting at the tables near the entrance. This has happened a few times to us. Some sort of barrier would help because it's incredibly annoying every 10-30 seconds when the door opens!

We were seated on a small table for 4 people. Hardly had room on the table for drinks.
The order for both our kids came wrong they hardly touched their meals- I said no sauce for both kids! And lastly we felt like we were pushed out the doors so the next lot of people could come in. Horrible experience. It's a shame because the food is nice.

We had booke a table for 7pm, and our show at Canberra Theatre dtarted at 8pm. We walked into the restaurant nervous because it was busy (normally a great sign) but time was tight. We enjoyed 2 courses, of very high quality food, and arrived at the theatre by 7.45pm. They cater incredibly well for coeliacs and, again, the food was divine. Service was amazing and was a lively, ambient atmosphere. Cannot rate highly enough!

I wasn't impressed with our initial table seating being so close to the cash register and the constant flow of foot traffic - very glad we asked to be moved, particularly since we booked well in-advance. The waitress screwed up our mains order and I pointed out very clearly and deliberately on the menu I wanted the Nduja Buffala pizza, not straight Buffala. My chocolate mousse was good but my partner's one tasted way way richer than mine - she had stomach problems all night and into the next day. Honestly your team needs to slow down their way of doing things - it is a very very busy restaurant but mistakes can be better managed if things are a bit slower and more deliberate - especially communication and building rapport with customers. An authentic Italian or European dining experience should be about quality and taking your time. Otherwise, your business is simply resigned to being a buffet for pizzas and oversized parties with loud children. Just my opinion - the food is usually amazing.

We had a staff end of year lunch. The food was wonderful and plenty of it. Cathy and the staff were really good. We ate outside which was nice and the weather was perfect for it still maybe a little too casual for what I was going for but that's on me not the restaurant. For a quick lunch outside is great. The inside has a lovely atmosphere, I would call it 'smart casual' and better set for smaller gatherings.

Had an early pre theatre dinner. Pretty easy atmosphere, quick service and yummy large sized pasta dishes (enough to take home) fair pricing. Staff appeared to be overwhelmed at times with many people arriving without a reservation. As it was very cold and bit wet outside dining was not available. Overall good experience.

Sitting outside was very noisy at times. Service was generally good, but we had to ask 2 or 3 times before a bottle of tap water was brought to us. Food quality was average. I ordered the Squid Ink Linguini Vongole and it was not what I expected. The tomato-based sauce was too heavy, so much so that I could hardly taste the vongole. Apologies for the negative feedback, but that was our experience.

Lovely meal with fast service, though did have to follow up on one part of our order. We were seated outdoors but with a heater it made for a pleasant experience. A second heater may have been useful but we managed.A good spot to come back to for a delicious Italian meal.

We were 30 mins early to our reservation and ask to be sitted early, but was told that our table were not ready as the other party has not finished. We were ask to wait which was fine but there was plenty of vacant tables for two which they could easily gave to us. While the walk in guesses was shown straight to the vacant table. We question another waiter and he quickly offer us a table immediately, kudus to him. Maybe for next time the waiting staff should be a bit more flexible and be less restricted. Over all the food and venue were good.

Fantastic food and service, but asked if it was wheelchair accessible and said we'd have a wheelchair when booking, and told yes, and then we were seated up a stair.
