Win’s Creek Meadery is located in the historic Travellers Rest Inn. We produce honey, mead, craft beer, and beautiful handmade ceramics. The restaurant at Win’s Creek features meals and platters to pair with our mead and craft beer. Menu items are sourced as much as possible from local and regional producers. A range of sweets are all made in house and can be enjoyed with our fair trade organic coffee. Browse the Apiary Gift Shop for handmade ceramics, beeswax candles, woodwork, paintings, stained glass ornaments, and of course honey.

The pizza and mead were DELICIOUS. We loved meeting the puppies and wandering around the Meadery, but even just sitting in the garden was lovely

We sat outside in the winter sun, it was wonderful. We enjoyed a light and interesting lunch. The highlight were the drinks, homemade ginger beer and warmed mead.

It was mostly lovely, but probably could have had a few more food options, I’m a vegetarian and the options I chose were not available on this day (my birthday).

Lovely, quirky surrounds in a beautiful old cottage. The hosts were delightful and the mead and food exceptional. The speaker in the room where we sat cut in and out a bit, and maybe the music could have been a bit more sublte and "chill". But overall we loved the place.

The friendly welcome, sitting near a fire, drinking delicious hot apple honey and spice mead in handcrafted mugs. Very tasty pizza with a wonderful base. An option for a biscuit or dessert that fitted the previously advised nut intolerance would have topped it all off delightfully. Very keen to return when in the area. Thankyou

Lovely people very chilled. So chilled they forgot about us and didn’t get our pizza order going until they were reminded an hour later. Luckily we had a game to play in the garden and they gave us a delicious hot mead drink to say sorry. I would just suggest they check on their guests regularly to see where they are at. Pizza was v good thank goodness. ☺️

Lovely old cottage, simple but tasty menu and the mead was delicious. Service a little slow - we noticed they were advertising for staff so may have been a bit under staffed. Overall enjoyable.

Cute cottage with garden seating. Unusual pizza topping of sweet potato, stilton and gorgonzola was scrumptious and to have real tasty garden salad was a treat. Enjoyed the cherry mead most but would prefer the samples not diluted by ice. Lovely selection of ceramics and other art works. Plan to visit again
