Made a last minute reservation for my partner’s graduation lunch. Having been to three other Cattle Baron franchises, I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly impressed by the hospitality of this franchise. From the welcoming at the door by the waiter and manager, to the exceptional and attentive service from Happy and even the food and beverages were absolutely delicious. They also gave my partner a personalised congratulatory card and dessert, how sweet! Will most definitely be back to Cattle Baron De Waterkant again.

It’s always the best time at Cattle Baron De Waterkant. My family and I always say it’s the place to go for great food, long conversations, music ambience, kind staff and delicious cheesecake. This restaurant feels like a properly family restaurant with class and elegance. The food is beyond amazing, definitely the best steak in town with the best basting sauce. The waiters are also so helpful, they come to the table when you need them but also allow you freedom to sit a bit longer and enjoy your dessert and coffee after your dinner in peace. The space is also lovely, warm wooden booths and chairs and a lovely hue of soft lighting. Can’t wait to go back again.

Except for our online booking for 2 at 6 being written down as for 6 at 2, everything was wonderful. Luckily they still had a table available at 6 for 2. We ate here 7 years ago and always wanted to return. The Chateaubriand for 2 and Dom Pedro were as good as our memory said it would be. Hope to return sooner than 7 more years...

I had a dinner meeting with a large client in media,I am in Events.I was very impressed.
The waitress/ server was very attentive and proactive.
Management also ,I was seated by front desk,and ushered to my reserved table.
Food was amazing.
Took recommendations by our server.
Wine selection was great...

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. We stood for about 3 min then the cleaning lady who was mopping the floor noticed us and came with mop and bucket in hand greeted us,grabbed 3 menus and seated us .There was only one waitress on the floor after she took our starter order she never got a chance to get back to our table because she was really just to busy. I then got the attention of the manager and told him this is not on and who is noticing all of this. Our starter came before our drinks because that's how long we waited to order our drinks
All of this was mentioned to him to just plse take note of this .Even at the spur there is someone to welcome you at the door for the calibre or Cattle Barron this was disappointing
