The food and service was as amazing as it had been on previous visits. We did travel there purposely on our visit to S Africa as it is my husbands favourite restaurant in SA , it was also his birthday and I was just a tad disappointed there wasn’t a small gesture to celebrate his birthday . I would still highly recommend this restaurant if in swellendham .

La Sosta’s restaurant was a lovely surprise and was one of the 2 best restaurants we ate at in South Africa. Stylish inside and out, the food was amazing and equal to a number of Michelin starred and recommended restaurants we have eaten at in the UK. Well presented and the best ingredients with fantastic service, we couldn’t fault the restaurant and would highly recommend it. We will be back!

We had a very nice experience! La Sosta is a nice small restaurant, like you are in a living room. The waiters were very polite and kind. The food was great! It was my husbands birthday and on request they made a birthday cake for him and sang happy birthday for him with the whole staff! It was a perfect evening, grazie mille!

We had a great night at La Sosta. The ambience is romantic, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food is just amazing and great value for money! The menu is small but every dish we ate was spot on, innovative and based on pure, good ingredients (Italian kitchen with a international/SA twist). If this restaurant was based in the Netherlands I would eat here every week!

La Sosta is an absolute gem! The 4 course menu system allows for a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from. Each dish crafted like a work of art with an incredible combination of flavours that compliment each other and result in a unique and magnificent experience. The portion sizes are generous and as a result I had to opt for 3 courses! To top this the waitress, Bronwyn, is super friendly & well informed and will happily explain the details of the dish to you! Nicci the owner was also so welcoming and friendly... you can sense when chatting to her that this little gem that her and her husband have created is a labour of love! The prices are very reasonable and a booking here is highly recommended!
