The chef made gobi massalum, a dish not on her menu, at my request. It was superior to other versions that had prompted the request. Her sauces on the two dishes ordered were divine. Highly recommended! Superior wait staff!

The food was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients, seasoned well, and true to its Indian roots with some nice fusion touches (for example, the poutine fries with gravy and chutney was excellent). The masala chai brought me back to life after a rough week - it was served hot, spiced well, and even sweetened to taste without being too sugary. The decor is refreshingly original and we enjoyed the muted TVs showing relevant food shows/travel documentaries, as opposed to loud or obnoxious music videos. Our server was excellent, both in his attention to detail, bubbly personality, and in-depth knowledge of the menu and its dishes. This is one of the best and most unique Indian restaurants I have ever been to. If you're looking for run-of-the-mill butter chicken and naan type of dishes, you can get that anywhere. But if you want to experience truly delicious Indian food, some of which is rarely available at area restaurants (for example, the dahi puri appetizer/snack/chaat was so popular at our table we had to order a second round), then Delhicacy will quickly become your go-to Indian restaurant.

The tasting menu was amazing. Hopefully they can do it again on another night when the weather cooperates better so more people can get a chance to experience it. It was a great opportunity to sample a wide variety from the menu (and things I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise).

First visit. Went because they have Pani Puri - one of my all time favs for appetizers! Plus, Poppadum, which used to be the "chips & salsa" of Indian restaurants that just showed up on your table when you sat down. My only issue was they have a 1 to 5 scale for "spiciness." First time there, I went 4 (I like spicy). Very wussy - very disappointed. I asked for something hot to punch it up and they brought me some chile powder. It helped, but next time I'm ordering a "6." BUT, I'll definitely be back again!

The potatoes in the potato cauliflower dish were lukewarm indicating that they had been earlier and not brought back up to temperature. The spicing was not as flavorful as expected on a 3X order. I had asked for a cup of coffee after dinner and told that was not an option, so I asked if I could have a cup of hot water. They said yes and brought me a dinner glass with lukewarm water in it. This experience was not up to par with the several times I had been there before.

I love the food- very impressed with what you’ve done with the place! The fans were on a bit high- my hair was blowing all over the place! I could hear two different songs playing- maybe the TVs and music? It was confusing. The food was delicious though, and I’ll definitely come back! So excited you’re open!!
