F.A.Q.s
Frequently Asked Questions- Is there any possibility of a table being available even when it shows none?
- As a small Bed & Breakfast, we stagger guest arrivals to ensure the best possible service. If it is a normal business day (M-F 12-4:30) during our open season and you cannot seem to find a time to book, please give us a call at 1.704.735.6161 (landline and WhatsApp). We may be able to open a table in an offline timeslot.
- Do you permit pets?
- Unfortunately, no. As a private home and a licensed Bed & Breakfast, we have rules we must follow. To keep us in compliance, even our own family does not bring their ESA fur babies when visiting.
- Can I come look at the space?
- All visitors must have a scheduled appointment (free). We respect our guests' privacy and alert them when others will be present. Though private and secluded, part of our driveway is shared. No unregistered vehicles are permitted past the flower carts.
- Is there a cost to visit?
- All visitors must have a scheduled appointment (free). There is a cost for both--B&B accommodations and access to the grounds. We respect our guests' privacy and alert them when others will be present. Though private and secluded, part of our driveway is shared. No unregistered vehicles are permitted past the flower carts.
- Is smoking permitted?
- The White Rose Manor is a no pet, no tobacco, no vaping/smoking property. This includes the parking areas, grounds, and buildings.
- Why is the B&B only open for tea during the garden season?
- Tea purchases are available year-round; however, tea service is reserved for garden season unless you book a private event. The grounds are quite enjoyable with the colours of spring, summer, and fall. Other times are available during the year, too. As a service during COVID, the gardens were opened free-of-charge for visitors to have a place to go when so many areas were closed to the public. It was something we could do to help is some small way. We now continue with seasonal tea service.
