The Walden Club is the premier city club in Chattanooga, serving our members & the community for over 40 years. We offer a casual and formal dining room, along with a large ballroom and two private dining rooms, all with the best view in Chattanooga. The Walden Club hosts a variety of events - business meetings & luncheons, birthday celebrations, anniversary parties, rehearsal dinners, receptions, ceremonies, and almost any other occasion one can think of. We also have monthly events for our members and their guests.

Going to the Walden Club is always a fabulous experience. From the minute I step off the elevator, I feel seen and valued and like royalty. Sara is absolutely the best and knows how to make everything better if I’m running late or whatever crisis. Tracey and the wait staff are professional and always make dinner or lunch a special occasion even when it’s “just lunch or dinner”. Wish I could have every meal there!

The Riverview Room is my favorite but we had to go to the Tavern. I wish there was a more casual menu when we are placed in the Tavern such as nachos, mozzarella sticks, burger sliders, etc. The Walden club is always the best!

Need to change the lighting in the formal dinning area. The light bulbs in the glass fixtures are WAY too cool. They have almost a fluorescent feel. They need to be much warmer for this kind of setting. Also might want to consider using the can lights. It was very dim - too much so.

It was good to go out for a birthday dinner, but the food and service might be improved. Our entrees were salmon and grouper, which were prepared well, though the grouper was heavy on the crust. The vegetables were good, but seemed, all mixed together, a short cut to good vegetable dishes. The service was attentive on the whole, but was not very attentive to our finishing our meal. Had to wait too long to pay for our meal. We were especially unhappy that our check was not itemized!
