Had a table reserved for 6pm and was amazed at how busy the restaurant was. Food was amazing as usual. Service wasn’t as good as last time but they were a lot busier. Great local restaurant and is obviously /deserving doing very well.

I thought tables were well-spaced, food was very good, service was excellent and I can't fault it really. As I'm on a low sodium (salt) diet, I couldn't see any informationon which dishes would suit my diet. But, that was the only fault. Pricing was competitive. The duck spring rolls were our favourite, but it was all very good.

Absolutely love this restaurant, love the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the loyalty programmes, the way everything is cooked fresh, the way everything feels separate. Birthdays and anniversary's are always spent here, if they opened at Christmas, I'd be there for my Christmas dinner!!

We visit Tao as a treat and is a perfect setting for date night. We wouldn’t go anywhere else as it’s the best in Warrington and the service is top tier. The staff are always so attentive. We couldn’t ask for more.

The only problem was the temperature in TAO was quite cool. We asked for the fan next to us to be turned off and it still took quite a while to warm up.

Ordered the seasonal veg side dish and too much pak choy and hardly anything else for £11 it was a bit steep. I did complain but they charged us anyway so just paid it, apart from that the food was amazing.

Absolutely amazing service and food. Love this place. Never disappointed. Only thing that knocked it this time was being sat next to a loud rowdy large group, of which one woman kept using her vape at the table. But this isn’t the staffs/venues fault.

We booked a table for four people to celebrate my husband's birthday. Plenty of parking and free once you enter your registration within the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful and very modern. It has a cosy feel and atmosphere as a small and intimate restaurant. From the minute we all arrived the staff could not do enough to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. We were seated immediately and drinks were brought over promptly. We opted for the Sunday feast menu which was £30 per head and all you could eat on a vast range of items on the main menu. There was lots to choose from and we were spoilt for choice to be honest. We were not disappointed as I have been to some all you can eat restaurants that are buffet style and the food is not fresh or hot. but I can 100% say that the food at Tao was the opposite. They bring the food to you and all prepared from scratch in the kitchen there and then. We were encouraged to try everything on the menu and they were advising us to get bigger portion sizes with the duck and not holding back with the amount food they were offering to us. Everything came fresh, cooked perfectly and lovely and hot. We never felt rushed between courses and they they even offered to let us wait to build up more of an appetite for further dishes. I cannot list everything we sampled as too many but the hot and sour soup, salt and pepper ribs, wings, prawn roast, BAO buns, duck, Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai red curry, beef and pepper sauce, black bean plus the dessert of banana doughnut type cake. It was so so tasty. I could not recommend Tao enough and the staff. This is by far the nicest, tastiest, friendliest and most value for money Chinese restaurant I have ever been to and I've been to a lot. Thank you Tao for a lovely evening and we will be seeing you again soon. Melanie Igo

Welcome by most staff was warm but the lady who seemed to be the person in charge was officious and off-hand and we all felt as if we wanted to turn round and leave before even sitting down. However, after that moment, the evening improved and we all enjoyed a lovely evening and spectacular food. Was a little rushed at the end as we reached our table time limit. Not too keen on the spicy prawn crackers.
