Although a reservation is required for a table due to limited seating, you will need to proceed to the counter to check in and receive instructions on how to order. Great experience at Wake and Bacon. Our party of six ordered 7 dishes. We loved 6 (#BAEgoal, Chilaquiles, Berry Bliss Crepes, Ube Pancake, Turtle Buuble Waffles, Jorjito Bowl). We found the fried chicken thighs to be too salty. The tater tots are Outstanding! Coffee was a hit (Nitro Cold Brew and Purple Haze). Ordering any payment was a breeze. (Scan to bring up the menu, ordered and pay from your phone). Service was great. The space is small, beautiful and immaculate. Highly Recommend!

I was in Chicago with my niece visiting and everyone said we had to go here because the food and ambiance was great not to mention there was an awesome selfie mirror! I can say it lived up to everything! We ordered the chicken and waffles, Ube Flap Jack Stack with the Tocino bacon (thick and perfectly sweet and salty). I would vote the chicken and waffles was the better of the two, but the ube stack was still good. Hou can’t really notice the “ tater tot bits” which was fine by me. The chicken had amazing flavor though so you have to try it!!
I’m glad we went on a Monday because it was not just at all so we got to play with the selfie mirror for a long time. We were kind of bummed that the printer was out of order, but you could still have the pics emailed to you which was fun. I couldn’t imagine if it was busy trying to get to use the selfie mirror though so if that is a must for you, go on an “off peak” time.

The food was so delicious and the ambiance was cool. I LOVED that the menu had pictures of all the meals on them. The only suggestion I have is maybe more coffee drink options. I would have loved to try something seasonal or specialty. The food was delicious the drinks were great the French toast was so delicious. Tajin bacon who would have known. Definitely delicious. Loved the decor and photo booth. Will definitely be back with friends.

Awesome little breaky place. Could have done with a little more bacon jam on my burger as couldn’t taste it, and felt thr burger really needed it to finish it off, but overall, great food; ace service, and loved the swing tables outside
