Cincinnati's only Authentic, Euro-Style Jazz Club housed in a 150-year-old, cobblestone clad, flatiron. Located at the Five-Corners district of OTR, this small, Bohemian, jazz club has great live entertainment 4 nights a week with local, national, and international artists showcasing their talents in a unique listening room with oriental rugs on the walls to absorb excess sound - creating a cozy, living room, listening experience! Our cover charge is usually $5, except Saturday nights when it is $10 until 10pm, then $5 after 10pm. Occasional viisiting acts and special shows may be more.
NOTE: We have a full bar, wines, signature drinks, and a small, curated selection of beers. We do NOT have a kitchen, so our food menu includes only chips & salsa, cheese-its, chips, nuts, etc. We DO have a nice assortment of gourmet desserts to choose from :)
NOTE: Please try to be accurate when inputting your time-frame (1.5 hrs, 2 hrs, etc) for table reservations because the computer will schedule a new reservation for the table when the time is up. If you find that you cannot attend a performance, please cancel your reservation as soon as you know, so that others have the chance to attend. Thank you! :)

- Do you have a kitchen?
- We do not have a kitchen. We DO have a lovely selection of decadent desserts, espresso drinks, snacks, fun non-alcoholc drinks, and a full bar, including a small bevy of curated European wines. We suggest you save room for desserts, drinks, and/or coffee after enjoying one of the many wonderful restaurants in the downtown area. Another Option: we work exclusively with Essen Vegan Kitchen, across the street, for great vegan food delivered until 9pm. Menu available upon request.

- Yes, we always have a cover charge and it is usually $5, unless we have out-of-town bands, who tend to charge a little more for tickets. The cover charge is integral and necessary to help support our wonderful musicians!

I went to Schwartz's Point Jazz Club for the first time to enjoy listening to Waves Colectivo Latin Jazz band. I loved the intimate space. I found it to be very eclectic, warm, and inviting. The staff was very friendly, good service, and the music was top notch! I highly recommend- I look forward to going again very soon!

The Point is the best Jazz joint in Cincinnati. Between the ambience and the music, it's like being in "the Village" without leaving home. I'm also encouraged by the age range of the patrons, ranging from early 20s to 80s. Same goes for the performers, from the CCM crowd to veteran players.
The cover charge is so reasonable, we can tip the musicians and servers more generously. Love the place and hope to help keep it alive and well.

I ordered a drink with my girlfriend and I, we waited close to 25 mins before being waited on (it was busy I understand). She ordered wine I ordered a Autum Leaves (bourbon, orange spices and apple cider mixture hot). A whole table came, sat down next to us, were waited on and received their food, drinks and snacks before I even was able to thank the waiter for mine. Experience was incredible, Service was amazing besides the hiccup on the drink. Would come back.

Schwart's Point is the best "Jazz Joint" in Cincinnati. We stopped going to Chicago and Ann Arbor for music because this is just as good. Since the Wisp and the Platform closed, Schwartz's has become our Jazz home. The amount of Jazz talent in this city is astounding, thanks to CCM and the many seasoned pros who make this their home.

Wonderful small venue to hear music. The night we went we heard El Ritmo de Manana (I think) and they were amazing. Waitress should have checked for who wanted another drink . My first time being there was a great experience. It was very cozy and had a really relaxed vibe. The guys playing were really good. Drinks were reasonably priced as well as the other fare. The chips and salsa were tasty. Only suggestion would be maybe add a few other snack options... maybe a cheese plate. Overall this place seemed like a little hideaway hole in the wall. It’s a great place to listen to fine jazz music. Decor was updated - looks more contemporary than it used to be. I kind of liked old historic look too but it’s OK. Better to be clear about the cover charge for band at the time of reservation. Also better to announce who plays much sooner so we can plan ahead of time too.

We loved everything about it! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff friendly, the ambiance charming. Despite being a long term resident of Cincinnati, I'd never been in. The only suggestion i would have would be to steam clean the stones on the exterior and do better publicity! Although, it's a small place, so thats a challenge.

We enjoyed our first visit to Schwartz's Jazz Club. Our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive. He escorted us to our seats. Came back to take our drink order and brought us our drinks. He checked on us several times. We also ordered the tortilla chips and salsa. A slightly larger portion of both would be an improvement. I could bring in my own bag and a whole jar for less than the cost of the portions that were brought to us. At $4.50 we were hoping to share among the 4 of us. The music was excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance. We hope to return. Thank you.

I didn’t order food, so that category is N/A, but everything else about the evening was outstanding- the best musicians in town in a small, intimate environment. The owners have managed to establish quiet, listening environment (as opposed to everyone talking over the band) without killing the fun.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. I liked that the venue was small and I love the tables that were in the venue. I plan to come back on the July 29th to see Phil Degregg. I think the waitress could have checked on me a little more often to see if I wanted my wine glass refilled. Otherwise I really enjoyed the place.

Loved every part of it, except that the bartender kept getting one person’s cocktails wrong, the wine my wife was served wasn’t the Pinot Noir she asked for and tasted like two-buck Chuck, and my Templeton bourbon definitely tasted watered-down. Music and environment were terrific.

was an awesome time! I loved the jazz band that played, they were beautiful. What ruined the groups experience I brought was a loud man who kept talking over the music and making fun of the musicians, and making vulgar comments. It ruined a lot of our experience with the jazz but I would try to go again.

I ordered a flower iced tea. It cam in a large glass with a slice of lime but entirely too much ice. The glass was 3/4 full when the drink was gone. Since the waitress did not come over for me to order another drink for well over an hour, I sucked the ice. When I finally got to order another drink, I requested light ice. She brought my second drink with lighter ice but a smaller glass and no lime. I was able to pour the smaller drink into the larger glass that was half full of ice and it fit. So that means the two drinks were different sized drinks. But both were still $6. No consistency here.
Also the bowl of potato chips were $3.50. That consisted of TWO snack size Lay's potato chips that retails for under a dollar each. That is a 75 % mark up. And I thought gas was high???? I did NOT buy the chips.
