Noosa Bistro originally opened as Red Back Jack's in 1994 in Cleveland's Warehouse District. Red Back Jack's moved to Mentor, Ohio in 1997, and rebranded to Noosa Bistro in 2002. Noosa is a resort town in Queensland, Australia, and reflects the owner Rob Stanovsek's Australian heritage, while providing a taste of coastal paradise to Northeast Ohio. Noosa Bistro quickly became an instant staple for upscale-casual dining for locals and visitors alike, and built a dedicated following.
Owners Rob and Susan Stanovsek served loyally to the Northeast Ohio public at this location for twenty years, before excitedly choosing to relocate to the Diamond Center in Mentor. This move marked a shift in greater accessibility and affordability, while still maintaining Noosa Bistro's inherent and expected culinary quality and exceptional service.

The food was delicious. We shared a calamari appetizer and a soy Noosa salad. Both were nicely prepared and presented.
My wife had the center cut filet mignion cooked to a nice medium temperature with potatoes gratin and was served on a warm plate. I had the Osso Buco served with potatoes gratin roast style vegetables all over mashed potatoes. Again very delicious but was served in a cold bowl which means the mashed potatoes were quickly cold.
We passed on dessert.
Total bill with two glasses of wine was about $130.

Our server was wonderful. The only reason I have food at an 8 is because it was cold. We were there at 10:00. Nothing was hot.
Also, thought we would have a 2 hour window instead of an hour and a half, but understand that on a holiday. My first visit here and over all a good experience.

Everything was great until I went to the bathroom. The bathroom was very nice, but walking to and from the bathroom, I noticed how tacky the floors were. It might be the soap you use to wash the floors, or maybe your technique.
But no matter how nice a place is or how good the food, it all goes south with a tacky floor.

I was there Saturday evening. Our waitress Chris (I think that’s her name). She was wonderful. Awesome service. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Very generous serving! Just a suggestion: when you ask Online if it’s a special occasion, and someone tells you, it’s their birthday, it might be nice if you brought a dish of ice cream or a piece of cake or some small dessert on the house. we will definitely be back!! We weren’t rushed. It was a great evening.

Bad Boy oysters are the best. My shrimp and grits were wonderful. My wife had coconut shrimp and that too was delicious. Waiter was great, knowledgeable and helpful. Go to place for us!
