My 2 friends and I took the tour at the Malabar Farms and made reservations to eat afterwards. They took us to our table right away. We ordered natural ice tea with blood orange slices and it was great. The menu is perfect and we all decided on something different. The food was well presented, price very fair, and nice flavor. Our only issue was from order to delivery it was 36 minutes and we got antsy. The place is historical and has been updated and beautiful. If you have time this is an excellent place to eat. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We dined here for the first time tonight. Wow!! Everything was great! I had the pan-seared Walleye and Barry had a filet. Everything was prepared perfectly. It was delicious. The prices were amazingly reasonable for that quality of food. My husband said his Manhattan was one of the best he’s had. Corrine was our server and she was friendly, attentive and professional. We will be back. We are thinking drinks and appetizers on the patio next visit. ⭐️

So disappointed with the food. Crab cakes sure dense with no sear. Salmon had a strange tasteless condiment piped over the top - which wasn't mentioned on the menu. No Ohio wines offered like they used to have. This was the first time returning since they re-opened. The service was great but sadly we won't be coming back.

Everything was very nice. The only problem I had was when I made the reservation I needed it for 7 people. Your system would not do it. So I had to make 2 reservations one for 4 and one for 3. When we arrived there was a table for 8 in the middle of the room. We had no trouble with being seated there. So for your information there is a table to seat 8.

The food was not up to our expectations based on previous experience at Malabar. Maybe due to the season or maybe the regular chef had a day off? Also, I reserved online and did not see a way to request an outdoor table. Upon arriving "no outdoor tables available." An OK experience but not the memorable experience that my guest and I were expecting.

The service should have been lower but the 2 people were doing the best they could with so many people. More help is needed. The Asian salad lacked a key ingredient, mandarin oranges, -1 the waiter didn’t care & blamed the “bastard” cook

We always love sitting outside on the deck while dining; however, the food was cold and the service was very slow because they were understaffed. We were seated at a table for six even though there was only two of us. Large parties were turned away or had to wait even when we suggested to the waitress that we would move to a smaller table.She stated that it was first come, first serve and it wouldn't benefit anyone for us to move..Definitely didn't make any sense! The staff acts like you are a bother rather than acting thankful for the business! So sad because it truly is a beautiful place!

So glad we chose Malabar Restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was excellent..12 people...many dishes. Our server was attentive and had excellent knowledge of the many dishes. We are planning to have an annual family restaurant day each summer at Malabar. Can't wait!
