We enjoyed a great early evening meal for 3 at Izz Cafe. The overall style of the cafe is to serve mainly Palestine cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Patrons were made up from families, couples, groups of young people. Service was relaxed but efficient, with excellent menu explanations. The meal stands on its own, really good quality, with so many different flavors. Overall bill was very reasonable given the quality and quantity of the meal. A slight reduction for ambience, as there was a draft from the window seal. But management are aware and dealing with it. Definitely worth a visit.

I could not rate this restaurant more. Nothing was too much trouble. We were a large group and not one of us had an issue with food or service. We ordered pretty much the whole menu between us and the food was fresh, tasty and great value for money. What more could you ask for!

We really enjoyed our lunch and found the food utterly delicious. We ordered regular espresso coffee wich was average but later realised that arabic coffee is also seved . Having never eaten Palestinian food it might be nice to offer this to the uninitiated. We will definitely be back .

We loved the delicious, high quality food. All dishes were fresh prepared, decorated with creativity and the size of the meals was very generous.
Also the service was excellent from the warm welcome until we left the restaurant.
Izz Cafe is a small and incredible cozy restaurant. Certainly one of the most precious culinary gems in Cork.
Our advise for a guaranteed fantastic experience is to make a reservation online beforehand. The amount of tables is limited and therefore easily/quickly filled by walk-ins. We are definitely looking forward to our next culinary excursion at Izz Cafe.
